Just a thought. But wouldn't it be nice if at the end of the season RL would post what the top 5 cards used in the past season were?
Of course they would have to be smart about the data collection. When there is a card event going those days would need to be omitted. As that would mess with the count. Also either omit the challenge matches, or make those a completely seperate listing.
Honestly this shouldn't be difficult to do in software. Plus the reality is that RL should be collecting this type of data from the start. How else can you keep track of how the game is progressing.
I'm sure I'm putting too much trust in the management team. As I have doubts that half of them even play games. Let alone this one.
I'd even settle for a top 3 listing.
Also don't forget to reset the card counter after the season reset.
And I'm not even asking for a card level specific top 5. Just a plain this were the 5 most played cards of the season.
Having the list come straight from RL would let the community know if they guessed the right meta.
I agree. Their top priority should be fixing bugs.
Though, one would hope that they should have all the data/information at their finger tips already. Plus, hopefully they are looking at it, as well as using it. Just be nice to let the community know what some of the most popular cards are. That's what I'm getting at.
If they don't have this information. Than it'll help them in the future.
Probably because it would become obvious that almost everyone is playing the exact same mystical cards. Then how can they keep ignoring peoples complaints about mystical being OP/meta?Originally Posted by JohnOhai Go to original post![]()

If you want to know the most popular cards used in PvP that would be
1) Dogpoo
2) Cyborg Kenny
3) Hookhand Clyde
4) Program Stan
5)Choirboy Butters

Wow, I would have never expected to see that list. Very interesting indeed... I can imagine a good data dump of cards used across all players and games (including game results) would make for some really interesting data analysis to break down what is used and different levels and what actually works.
Explains why it feels like that damn Cyborg Kenny keeps popping up so often
TBH I think that his deathwish duration is way too long, he is kind of frustrating... Only costs 4 and if played right he will kill a unit before getting killed, then that unit will fight whoever is nearby, often until they both die. Or if it takes over an assassin with a clear path to the NK it will take a phone unless you have the energy to sacrifice a spell or another unit to stop it. Massive win for whoever played CK in either case.
Oh and a lot of people have cheaply taken to starting the game by throwing a CK in middle of field as soon as they possibly can, forcing you to waste a spell if you were lucky enough to draw one. You cant use a cheap unit to stop him because thats probably an assassin and that will backfire. A tank might work but will still have plenty of time to damage your NK and be hurt enough that he is useless afterwards. Any fighter or ranged unit you summon to stop him would also have plenty of time to be taken over, take a phone then die. Complete waste.
He is epic and no need to go overboard (like paladin butters and princessu kenny) but he would still be great value and more balanced if his deathwish was ~7.5 seconds instead of 10.
Any chance of getting a longer list? Would love to see top 20 or something![]()
Many thanks UbiBuck. This is some great information. Not to mention pretty much what I requested. It's quite interesting really. The list differs from what most of the community thinks the popular cards are. Myself included. As only one of my guesses are listed.Originally Posted by UbiBuck_ Go to original post
Could this information be something that can get relayed to the community on a somewhat annual schedule?
Don't know about other's, but personally I would find it interesting to follow the trends of card popularity. Especially after major balance changes like this last season reset.
