Troubleshooting Tips Not Working At All

Hey, I need help connecting to for honor. I've been consistently running into error 2-00002911 for four months and I can't even get past the start screen. I haven't been able to get to the main menu once...

I've attempted port forwarding and activated all xbox and for honor ports, I've put my xbox as a DMZ host, I activated UPnP, I power cycled my xbox and reset my router. I've done all of these things multiple times but to no avail. I fear the only thing left to do is delete my game off my console as the game will not work PERIOD.

I've done literally everything ubisoft troubleshoot tips told me to do for For Honor, the game won't even let me to the menu screen without connection failed screens. If any final solution can be offered that can save this game for me, I'd be very grateful. <3

    Hey,

If you have done all of that, I would suggest contacting your ISP and see if they can do anything from their side or provide a new router / modem.

If you have an old router / modem lying around that still works, plug that in instead of your current one and see if that helps.

I'm contacting them now to see if there's anything they can do on they're end. Maybe they can help me figure something out, but I doubt it because For Honor is the only game I have had any trouble with on my xbox whatsoever. I think something about the Ubisoft servers is just singling my console out for whatever reason, could I have been banned or something? My other games never did anything like this...Its just For Honor.....

Perhaps Ubisoft can manually do something to unstick my system in their servers? Like some kind of mini update or something. I know thats unlikely that they'd do that, but this is just all so weird why this is happening. Still on the line with the ISP people.

Also, UBI Froggard, I was told by my ISP that if its just the one game that is having trouble, I need to contact the Ubisoft people, which I've been doing. My internet connects fine with every other game. Ubisoft's server is the problem, so something needs to be done on Ubisoft's end to resolve this because there's no reason that this should even be occuring after I've done everything to resolve the issue per the Ubisoft troubleshooting tips for For Honor connection issues.

    Hey TheOldWitchSoul,

We are not able to unstick you manually as it is not how the servers work.

Have you made a ticket on our website? Forum support is limited in what it can offer in terms of troubleshooting.

I got a response, did everything they recommended. No difference at all... Didn't work. Its an issue on their end and its been going on for four months as far as I can tell. I'm making a youtube video about this today to hopefully light a fire under ubisofts butt because its not okay for me to not be able to play a game that I paid for and especially after I invested money into yalls online store. https://ibb.co/5BYb6CW

I'm sorry to hear you are continuing to have troubles. As stated in your other thread I highly recommend changing your DNS settings.

Got the same problem here since december!, done every troubleshot tips for your support site, send a ticket to the support, contact my ISP, but still nothing, I can't play, and evry answer I get from the support is the same sine December .
Is there going to be any fix soon enough ? Or do I have to uninstall the game for good and forget it after 2years of play ?

    Same

I’ve wanted to get back into the game and clearly not and I’ve done tons of trouble shoot methods. Right now I’m waiting for the maintenance to finish but I don’t know how to fix this. I’ve also reinstalled the game and that didn’t really help so far

Well now I don’t get that error I just get 7-00004
