Alrighty, to have it completely politically correct for the DZ-Folks:
Massive, could we, additionally, get an area for a DZ-LIKE PvE Experience?
Call it a Dawn- or Sunset-Zone.
A Zone where up to 12 players get to run around and complete landmarks.
With some special EXTRA hard landmarks, that players could randomly band together if they so choose and tackle the problem together.
Maybe form friendships over multiple cleared Landmarks.
Maybe disband right after.
A high difficulty zone, with strong and tanky mobs, but the possibility and chance given to the player to band together WITHOUT matchmaking and WITHOUT being in a group or a clan.
Meet up, fight together, die together, sing damn Kumbaya together, whatever the heck.
Important part: Same rewards as in the DZ. This should:
Please the DZ Folks as nothing was taken from them.
Please the PvE Folks as they get a similar experience without the griefing.
And a big point:
It's a way to meet other players, outside of safehouses or the BoO. We don't have that. At all.
The title of your post is confusing :-)
I do agree that a PVE environment like you propose would be great for meeting new people to play with.
You just can't judge a person's playstyle by how he/she is standing around a safezone ;-)
Challenge ++ missions or locations would be awesome also.
I fully back this idea
Bit sad I didnt come up with it :-)
I fully support this.Originally Posted by R1_Stealth Go to original post
An open-world with challenging to heroic level enemies. A world which can be balanced numbers wise around how the raids are/will be.
Maybe the size of 1-2 districts, similiar to the DZ.
A 12 player PvE experience.
Should be a no PvP zone. The Dark Zone should stay a seperate and unique feature.
Should be somewhat less rewarding or different from raids too, to make a distinction here from as well.
Yes please.
Roflol. Are you trolling or are you serious? This has been a discussion since the division 1. At this point it is safe to assume this will never happen. Furthermore, the open world has everything you could need from a PvE dz other than 12 agents. And to be fair that works out better for you since noone can clear a landmark you intended to.Originally Posted by SinnerNL Go to original post
Control points and the other activities are nothing short of what dz landmarks are like. At this point the only real difference is that the dz is going to be getting 515 drops, but for the risk of having your loot hijacked i think that is fair.
What they need to do is add 515 drops to heroic content in the open world and I assume the raid will also have that tier of loot. There is no reason for this post tbh.
