Longer launch times with each update

Has anyone else noticed an increase un the delay it takes the game to launch after each update? Just today I launched the game and, I kid you not, I continued to browse the web for a bit and completely forgot that I had launched the game. I went to youtube and as I'm about to start a video, the screen goes black and the game launches.

It took about 3 munites or so to launch! And I have it installed in an SSD. I can't imagine how long it would take in withan HDD!

Is something going on with my installation (maybe some files are corrupted or something) or is this happening to everyone?

And on task manager, you see processor working (15~20%)... but allocated memory doesn't increase for a long time.

Yes, it has been reported numerous times, a Ubi member said it happens more often with SSD drives or if uplay and the game is on different drives. I am not using a SSD, both uplay and the game are on the same drive and I now watch a movie until the loading and connecting finishes.

How can they not fix this issue? I am betting 100% that after this maint, the load times would double.... triple maybe. This is ridiculous.

Wow, they just speculate on things without any ground, throwing guesses around against the most common setups for gamers. Most people will just be taken in by that post because that's the setup they use anyways.

I don't know why Ubi staff are making wild theories without any basis or fact. Having the game on a separate SSD has nothing to do with this. Others have the game and o/s on one SSD drive and have the same problem. The support staff even previously made me install the game to the o/s drive because of crashing issues which didn't resolve anything. They are just continuously going to aggravate their customers with answers like these.

And even if this "separate SSD" was really resposible for this mess, it just sounds like a nonsense to me. It's the year 2019, NOT 1999.

since the previous patch im at about 5mins to 7 mins from pressing Play untill im fully ingame now. use to be 1-2mins tops before that. and yeah Uplay and the game are both on the same drive. This seriously needs to be adressed.

I even ran CrystalDiskInfo on my drives incase they were faulty. All checked out fine with good health. Main o/s SSD 100% health and Game SSD 98% health. Whatever happened to the matra that Julian Gerighty mentioned they would approach the game with when they release these patches? "Health, Quality of Life and then Fun Content."

They're releasing content and breaking the game's health.
