The ability to do this may be removed. It's currently the case in the PTS.

But you do understand why that is the case in the DZ, right?

It is after all why we are here, to chase the best loot.
i wouldnt be too sure about this one, think about the loot right now, i still have more than a few pieces in the 480-490 range that totally outshine my 500's. heck, ive been running a 484 AR for two weeks because everyone i get that is 500 even if it its the same exact gun and has the exact same talents have 2-4k less damage.

Unfortunately, this is more the norm and not the exception.

What if its the opposite and PVP is the majority?
I could almost bet my entire months paycheck on how ******** this is.

This is a majority PvE game, and PvE people don't go watch pvp builds on youtube. The few youtubers who do play the PvP areas are the extremely loud vocal minority, meaning they have a fantastic platform with which to get their opinion out versus us here at the forums that only ever see the few responses from the CM's and its almost always a copy pasted response or rebound question.

People that play PvE, do not want to go into the DZ. At all. So why on earth would we be watching a guy play Pvgank'unsuspecting'guyP using a super meta build that if the changes in the PTS do infact carry over, will be nerfed to hell.

The DZ crowd needs to get over themselves. Nobody wants to go in there because there are no risks for the tards that go rouge. I remember exactly what happened in D1. You crybabies *****ed and complained because you were getting jumped by people hunting you when you went rogue and you were losing out on XP and drops, and so like normal children, you complained to mommy, and mommy changed the rules. Now there is no risk to go rogue. None. Therefore for us PvE crowds, there isn't a carrot big enough to get us to go back into an area that already tainted its name from the first iteration.

You could put GS550 crap in the DZ and I'd simply go play a different game, that's how little I desire to play their attempt at PvP.

So pair that with Raid's difficulty level, as well as the time it'd take, not to mention the amount of retries no doubt...

Now take a look at Dark Zones.
Let's talk about Normalized, while your stats are indirectly nerfed, enemies spongey-ness are also mostly gone.
Loot drop chance are also relatively high, as well as its quality.
Clearing landmarks takes about 5 minutes, quality loot drop will be about 3~6 items.

Do I have to spell it out at this point?
Sure, Raid might drop the highest GS, but with the required time and effort. It's not on the same ratio as how effortless and time consuming it is to farm in the Dark Zone. All you need is a bit of luck to not run across campers and gank squads. Or be a gank squad yourself even, 30 minutes camping at extraction site, and you might get the same amount of quality loot as you would running Raid 3 times in 6 hours.

That ****'s not healthy. Stop trying to dismiss this obvious flaw.
Basically the same formula as the first game. As a hardcore D1 pvp player, I hope they don't do this and offer the highest end loot in equal measure and equal opportunity in both LZ and DZ, otherwise we will just have weeks and months of complaining about this issue and the unfairness of loot drops in LZ and DZ all over again.

Something everyone needs to consider is that a "studio" dedicated to PvP development will advocate for whatever is necessary to keep their jobs.

That has to be real difficult at this point since the vast majority of the customer base doesn't participate in PvP minigames.

That's the first problem here. Allowing one entire business group to exist for a dead game mode will always create issues such as this one.

(And I say that as a player of all game modes who will be farming the DZ for high-end gear. It's just simply the truth.)

    Bleach over PVP

I’m dead serious, I would rather drink a gallon of bleach before DZ
