They aren't. Read what other people post.

Last I checked that's your assumption, not them saying Raids will be soloable. But even then, I don't see advertising and promises, I see one line in an interview from almost one year ago, plenty of time for certain things to have changed.

    Agree.

its forcing people that dontlike pvp go to pvp zones to get best gear. "so dont go get this gear!"someone will said. But then no need for WT1, 2, 3... its an action rpg. grind for gear its part of the thing that droves players in to the game. And many of them just dont like people ganking them or pretend that are your friend and kill you when have opportunity, otherwise they would just stick in real life people

Not if the only way you can get the gear is from raiding(which would require a group) or pvp
Except it's not the only way to get gear... it's just the only way to get the tippy-top ilvl very best gear, and that is just fine.

If you are, as you claim, a 100% solo only player.. then you won't need that 515 gear. A set of optimized 500 gear will be plenty good enough for any solo activity in the game. The only ones who truly need the higher gear will be those doing the absolute highest difficulty content, which is either raiding or PvP.

So no, you, nor any other solo player, is forced into the DZ or raids. You can absolutely get all the gear you will ever need for solo play from activities you can do by yourself.

Raids have always been communicated as needing 8 players. never solo

And who are you to decide that level 500 gear will be plenty good enough exactly? Do you speak for everyone?

    Lol wut...

I am not deciding anything.. it's simply an objective fact. You do not need as high level gear for solo stuff as you do for group things. Missions scaled to one person is the easiest difficulty there is in this game, things get exponentially harder in groups.. so of course you don't need as high ilvl gear to do solo activities... it's simple numbers my dude.

Hell if anything an optimized 500 loadout would be more than needed. There are people now, myself included, wearing 490-500ilvl builds and easily soling challenge mode missions and bounties. Even heroic is doable with 500 gear if you have the right build and are good enough at using it.

My point is you are not forced at all to get that 515 gear. If you only want to solo things in this game the gear you get from solo activities is more than strong enough.

This concept that you are "forced" into the DZ or a raid to get gear 15 ilvls higher than what you can in solo play.. so you can get geared enough to play solo is simply absurd.

It's like playing WoW and demanding that you be able to get Raid gear sets from quest rewards. Not everyone wants to play in a group, why should you be forced into a raid to get raid quality loot? No I don't want to just quest in quest gear, I want raid sets so I can be powerful for questing, but I dont want to raid!

    That's what you sound like.

Yeah I saw that, which is why I said if, as some of their balancing seems to be heading that way. Call it a preemptive strike. It's just a heads up that the PvE player base - by far the biggest section of the player base - doesn't want anything to do with the DZ. Or at least that's true for me, and it's non-negotiable.
