ALT-TAB - reduced FPS when game is not focused

Any ideas or plans to remove the out of focus FPS limit on the game as it reduces it to 15 FPS when alt tabbed.

I tend to stream and record off 1 monitor (my son bricked my other monitor and wife has put a lock on funds currently) so I find myself in a position where I have to alt-tab to check on certain things, recording / audio / stream settings etc but obviously every time I do this it reduces in-game FPS to 15 and thus translates to the recording / stream.

Obviously there are more important things to fix / look at first but if this can be passed over to whomever for their perusal it'd be greatly appreciated.

Hi eKraezy! I do not have any information on that at this time. To be sure I am understanding correctly, the reduced FPS happens only when you are alt-tabbed out. When you al-tab in, the FPS returns to normal?

    That's correct.
Looking for a foreground FPS setting and background FPS setting or at least code the FPS to remain the same regardless of whether the game window is active or not.

@eKraezy Do you happen to play the game in Fullscreen mode? Have you tried Borderless Window?

Thanks for that info! Could you provide what your PC specs are as well?

The issue won't be with my spec or rig, it's software related as some games have this feature (as it reduces cpu/gpu load whilst the game window is inactive and some games don't. Was merely asking if the game would incorporate a foreground/background FPS option at some point so that when users ALT TAB , the game doesn't automatically reduce it's FPS to 10-15 when the game window is inactive.

But for the sake of answering your question specs below

    ► CPU: i7 4770k @ 3.5ghz (oc to 4.5 ghz)
    ► GPU: Gigabyte Extreme Gaming 980ti 6gb OC'd
    ► Mobo: MSI Z87-G43 Gaming
    ► RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16gb (1600 mhz)
    ► Cooling: Hyper EVO 12

    For me, it's normal.
When you want to focus on other things, the game reduced himself to 24 FPS to decrease the heat & CPU usage, so you can make multiples things.

His question is more about disabling the reduced framerate, so he can have his browser and the game with 60 fps on the background.

I'm pretty sure this is an intended behavior. But most of the other intact triple A games have option to disable it, which is not the case for this one.
