As for me, I vote single pick. But that's only only because I get bored easily,no other reason. I NEED variety. Strategically it actually puts your team at a disadvantage to have all 4 of the same character. If someone on the other team has that character worked out, they have you all worked out. If they haven't,you're actually giving them more practice so they will. And as someone has already pointed out. A gank is a gank. If they're good at it,it doesn't really matter who they play.

i don't see how its a disadvantage strategically given the lack of balance of characters and feats. i've been apart of full teams of raiders and hitokiris and those have been some of the easiest games i've ever played on dominion. you ever try dodging the hitokiri's ultimate attack back to back? the raider and hitokiri are some of the better characters in the game right now with feats catered to 4v4 combat and dealing with characters in revenge. it makes more sense to stack teams with them. you know how the match is going to go based on character choice alone before the match even starts. a hitokiri will have more presence on any team than a warlord, same class but completely different levels

Good point. But my first thought when reading this was ' two hito's wasting both their ultimates on me? Awesome. I'll die,no doubt about it,but now they can't use it again for a while. Advantage my team.' Plus I've never really had a problem with him. I've been playing a long time,so I've gotten pretty good at not putting myself in bad situations. It's not a popular thing to say,but most people put themselves in a situation that induces ganking. I am also coming off a stand point of personal experience. Whenever I've joined a match and the other 3 pick the same character, I'll almost always pick the same one as well, for a laugh as well as it kinda cool in an odd way for me. But we usually lose. Not always, but usually. Which would perplex me, expecially when we we're all op characters. I surmised it was because the opposition were fighting one style, which made it easier for them to adjust to,and made us predictable. No hard evidence or data. Just my musings.

You must be a good team player with that mindset in team fight and i always pick the same hero as them when two or three of my teammate pick the same hero just for the laugh

Single class pick would make the dominion interesting.
    1 assasin
    1 hybrid
    1 vanguard
    1 heavy
Each time you die you have to pick an available class.

I like your idea but like they do in apex legends... People would disconnect when unable to pick their main.

But yeah... Getting ganked by 3 hitokiri is... Huh

I do not agree with single pick. I think this would add an additional thing for FH to make people walk away. I want to play with my Warden and only him to level up or get gear, but every other game someone else picks him first so I can't. Sound fun to you? Only thing I can suggest is make a separate mode, like 4v4 rank that allows one hero pick, but you can't do that for regular dominion or you will make a lot of people unhappy that want to play with the hero the want, when they want.

Maybe at a certain Rep single pick takes effect so noobs don't feel boxed in. I'm in the same boat as I usually only pick one hero and play that hero to the ground.
That said I think single pick could be a good idea to help balance. I dislike the idea but agree with it provided it helps make the over all experience of each game better.
If you can make the overall experience more enjoyable the people like myself who dislike single pick may become inconsequential. Sure some will leave but the game experience will improve which may attracte newcomers or old players who abandoned the game.

I totally despise the idea of single pick. If I would want to play my character in a match and they would rob me from the chance, I would totally quit. I can afford limited time playing, and if I want one of my Breach matches played as Black Prior, I will ****ing play Black Prior, even if I am one of the four. However, the only positive effect it adds is psychological advantage on the BPs side, I feel more motivated to play well if someone else picks my class.

Multiple of the same heroes is not the problem. The problem is with the heroes who are always picked by multiple players. Is it Orochi? No. Is it Nobushi? No. Is it Highlander? No. Is it Peacekeeper? No? Gladiator? Lol no. Warden? Not even Warden. Four of any of those wouldn't cause any problems for you (unless you are looking for an excuse for losing on purpose). The problem is with Lawbringers, Raiders, Hitokiris and Jian Jun (the latter was dropped after the raider and lawbringer buff however by those players who picked him for ez wins, they can take on his role and don't look like an ugly Santa at the same time). Lots of damage, no brainer wide attacks with good ganking potential, grenades (Lawbringer), broken Hyperarmor (Hitokiri), broken feats (pretty much all three), instakill potential on entering a groupfight (Stampede Charge, Spike).

By the way, remove the ****ing Stampede Charge. It's a stupid noskill move that secures almost everything in gank, there is nothing saving you from it. Every character would be broken with it, but of course the most hated, most noobfriendly character has it. With all the bs Raider has, this should be revoked, only a handful characters has similar moves, and they are all weaker.
