Get off your high horse. If the devs are incorporating spectator mode and pusing for competitive...guess what that could mean? SINGLE PICK hero per team. Maybe for new kinds of game modes or modifies exixsting ones, but it could happen or at least be tested..."coughtestinggroundscough". If that were to happen and prove to be superior and made an official change...guess who is definitely not getting their money back....Originally Posted by IAmOddGirl Go to original post
That's just how it goes on a forum. Until closed or deleted, no conversation is truly over.Originally Posted by Vakris_One Go to original post

As some can tell, I'm a middle ground kind of guy, so I suggest implementing a single pick playlist the same way Event and Testing Ground playlists are implemented in the multiplayer. However, this may divide the player base, especially on PC, and may lead to low activity on some game modes but at least no one's needs would be compromised for the most part.
My take on single pick, however, is that it won't eliminate the issue of frustrating ganks since there are many devastating single pick based combinations that can be chosen from Raider, LB, Jormungandr, Centurion, Hitokiri, Shugoki, Gladiator, Valkyrie, Shaman, Highlander, PK, Shinobi, and Shaolin, to say the least. In other words, there are plenty of heroes that can either immobilise you or floor you to initiate ganks.
I just realised that. Shame on me!Originally Posted by Vakris_One Go to original post
I can easily imagine why someone would reply to a 5 month post.Someone who doesn't feel the need to start a new one when one already exists. A lot of these threads are just carbon copies of threads written over two years ago, with the same people giving the same tired responses. Most people start new threads for attention. Not always attention for themselves ( calm down ),but mosty for attention to the problem. Bombardment and persistance IS a very effective technique, but not always and certainly not when overused. I think using old threads at the moment is a very good idea. It's a perfect way to demonstrate just how long a problem has existed and still bothers people. I believe it would cut down on repetition and encourage new ideas. And that's just off the top of my head Vakris.
