WTF has me having more armour got to do with taking out a drone? Nothing.Originally Posted by tzaeru Go to original post
Every single shot registers. You can tell that as you get the hit markers. You cant really f**k up with the Glory Daze as stability is spot on. My aim is not sh!t like you are trying to point out. And what is the point of me lying...nothing, there is no need at all to lie.
You said "When a red bombardier drone can take more hits than you then there really is a problem.". You could fix that with more armor.Originally Posted by Oddb0d Go to original post
Hmm, well, Glory Daze is a little bit lackluster I find. Are you shooting at the enemy at an optimal range? With that -35% optimal range, Glory Daze has basically the same effective range as a SMG. So shooting a drone that is at any distance might not be optimal.Originally Posted by Oddb0d Go to original post
Well, sorry, shouldn't have blamed you so directly, but people exaggerate very easily. My anecdotal experiences are so vastly different from e.g. yours that I'm simply trying to understand what the actual problem is. Nothing in this game takes even nearly as many hits as the Cyberdemon in Doom 1. Once a boss is isolated and his friends are killed, I am pretty sure it has never taken more than a minute to kill a boss in this game - usually much shorter than that, too. Lots of FPS games and MMOs feature tougher boss fights with spongier bosses than this game. And okay, yeah, Heroic is hard on solo, I agree, but shouldn't it? There's people speed-running solo Heroic in under 20 minutes. It's doable. But does everyone need to be able to do it? I'd say no. Not everyone needs to be able to.Originally Posted by Oddb0d Go to original post

As for the Glory Daze I wait until they are close enough in so that I do get the optimal range, even when they are nearly on top of me they don't take much damage. I have to stress here that I am playing on hard and anything above hard is harder to kill/destroy (as it should be to which I have no argument about), but still, they're a fkin drone, they shouldn't take so many hits to take out, after all, they can take out my drone so very easily enough. I cant count how many times I have deployed my drone and its been taken out in a matter of moments.
As for more armour (which I stated previously was at 860k+), I am trying to fine tune one build at a time so I can create my loadouts, I'm not going to or rather don't want to start faffing about trying to create multiple loadouts at the same time. Even before the WoNY every time I created a loadout it was fine, but it wouldn't save multiple loadouts correctly. I would make a build, save it and it would be fine. When I started a new one, I would save that loadout, choose the one first made and have different items equipped! The last time I tried it, it equipped an M4 as my primary and different bits of gear that I wouldn't use. I cant explain it, It's obvious there that I'm the one that fked up I know, but I never used the M4 until the Pyromaniac came into play, I tried it yes, but I didn't save it as a piece of a loadout as I preferred and ran with the P416.
As for the Cyberdemon, I pulled hair, teeth and fingernails out fighting that fecker.
I agree with the original post.
It doesn't matter if I'm in a group of 4 or alone in the open world or in a mission, a mob with a shotgun takes me down in max 2 shots. I have a lvl40 agent with 660k armor with Striker build. I tried different builds with more armor, but I didn't feel the difference, so I choose more DMG instead of armor. And yes, I can do DMG, I can aim a bit also, IF I get the chance.
This game used to be fun. Now it mostly makes me frustrated.
I've got 1.2 mil armor and even then it becomes a pain with many mobs. I like the challenge but damn, not everything needs to take forever to do, not everything needs to feel like you need to be a war time tactician to pull it off. I'm having fun but the sustainability of that fun with decline soon over time. Many others love the challenge and thats good, let them play it on like challenging or legendary modes while the devs figure it all out.Originally Posted by UswaldHUN Go to original post
