Division 2 LOSING PLAYERS because of refusal to fix Armor worthlessness.

Situation: Armor is meaningless in the game. No matter if you're 240000 Armor -- It means nothing. You still get melted by Reds on the street or yellows just as fast and faster as if you were level 1 still. Others have said the same and some are so PISSED that they have demonstrated this with Youtube videos.

So, here it is, UBISOFT, make the armor allow us to survive more than 4 bullets from a yellow when in Challenge mode, or take this game and shove it you know where just like you did with DIV 1's mistakes until you finally pulled your heads out and listened. You lost a slew of players for DIV1, and you're doing the same here. People are going back to Destiny2. WTF?!!! It's because they want to enjoy the endgame, but they feel like all the work they put in to optimizing armor and they still can't survive, even against red punks on the street, since you multiply damage out of cover by an insane amount..

YOU KNOW Armor is broken. FIX IT!

Otherwise, start giving us our money back for selling us a damn broken game.

Challenge would be fun if we could last for at least 2 seconds out of cover while we get swarmed with people with batons who can one-tap you after swallowing a million damage from my LMG. It's difficult to keep people playing the game when they can't play it because the armor doesn't work. They just give up, and these are excellent players. So it's not about "git gud" so I don't want to hear any of that trolling, please.

    Also:
[1] We're not going to do Invaded crap every week. That got boring fast.
[2] People in a clan doing the same mission should count on their own maps too. We shouldn't have to clear everyone's maps of Invaded missions one by one. It should count on everyone's map for the whole team...when in a clan!
[3] Exotic Challenge drop rate too low. We completed Challenge for exotic sweet dreams, but only one member of four got it.
[4] Hunters should spawn, but they do not if you already made them spawn once. They need to spawn always, even if you already have the mask.
[5] Please, fix the armor problem. I understand you don't want face tanking. That's understandable, but you've gone overboard. Armor should count, but right now, it doesn't.

At early game i find these armor changes justified, because they want to offset to make enemies easily killed so they increase the damage and how armor works.
Then i Reach the end game. and its insane....

I also find the balance they did in this game is ridiculous....
    They change health to armor.
    Makes armor unregenerate able.
Says that They did this because they need to offset the bullet sponge enemies.
At early game i didnt complain this. I was OK to the decision if they offset this with NO BULLET SPONGE.
And wth with the AI, all of them is like cheating, they knew when you gonna reload, they rush you and when they are in front of you, you just cant kill em with ONE clip,
You spray a whole clip to them, and when if they didnt die, then YOU DIE(with even your full armor), What kind of game is this?
Make the tank easier a bit easier to kill but with a twist, these tanks will charge you.....

Yet, now what we got is a paper thin armor, You pops up and you dead in literally seconds out of cover.
And the enemies are intelligent, flanking, bullet sponge (STILL) and they have insane damage to make things even worse with your paper thin armor...

I thought that they had the balance just right when im playing the game early, then i got to end game, and its frustrating as hell.
This is the same problem they had in Division 1 early stages. Spongy enemies, Insane Armor, but they make things worse by giving you only armor as your main staple...
Keep dying like 20x a row, back forth back forth, and give up. IM about to slam my keyboard keep dying dozens of times already.
And is it just me, i found that all the AI has 100% accuracy.
I always fears shotgunners in Division 1 if they are near me, Now, they just shoot from ranges.....

UBISOFT! Do not ignore this problem, it will cost you many players, many more than there already have left the game

This game is more tactical than Division 1 and Destiny 2. If you feel like your armor doesn't matter - you're wrong. It does. Just not that much. You can't facetank anymore. You should use cover and make heavy use of radar to get better situational awareness. See if enemies are flanking, use the layout to your advantage.
I have 250k+ armor, and an AR build with Unstoppable force. I am able to take on Challenging missions solo without any problems and without dying. Without even losing all my armor actually.

I was about to write the same...
People just need to learn that face tanking is a bad idea and that shooting out of cover is the best armor.

Its nice that you do that, but its possible to do that with just the bare amount of armor you get when equipping 490 purples.
I havent noticed any difference of surival between 350k armor+hp (total value) and about 200k, it feels like enemies always do % damage to players instead.

The game really isn't tactical at all, the AI is just too stupid to pressure the player and the best tactic against elites is no tactic at all. Because otherwise your armor will fly of in a blink against an elite enemy using a pistol on 100 meters shooting you down to 1% health with laser precision with only 3 bullets. That is a fact and what others also point out.
Yes you can do challenge solo, yes you don't need immense armor but is the gameplay challenging or fun? The answer is a simple no!
You only sit behind cover waiting for an enemy to do something stupid, most commonly run up to you and then you shoot him. If you have the right stats you succeed, if you don't you die. Which highlights the next problem, there is really only one sort of build that works and skills are never really a part of it. I even don't use skills anymore as it is always faster, more efficient and overall better to just shoot them. Also before this comes up, I can solo challenge as well but on coincidence I have a similar build you describe, which only highlights the overall problem more. And make armor matter is needed for more build options, like tank builds, that is a fact.

You proved what we knew: there is no damage reduction but only armor + hp to survive.
Killing faster also increases your survivabilty.
But killing the enemy medic before he can revive a fallen comrade contributes much more than tanking a few bullets extra (which wouldnt be shot at you by dead enemies anyway).

This is a great example of how armour/health works against a single enemy, but not a squad of enemies that can shoot you, whilst in cover and through solid objects, still changes the effectiveness of armour/health. We can all deal with 1 enemy, but multiple enemies, some of which are spawned on top of you, whilst being drone/RC/grenade spammed is a completley different situation. Armour/health suddenly becomes pointless no matter how much of it you have.

The game is tactical enough for a looter-shooter. AI is not that stupid. They flank and they press from time to time. Armor is there to help you run from cover to cover and to survive occasional flanking. It is not there so you could pop out of cover and start trading bullets with enemies. This is what riot shield is there for.
But aside from that, it seems like you're not enjoying the game, maybe you should play something else? =)
