I found this great site on German X-Planes. Its got plenty of design drawings and some great CG artwork of them in action.

Having some of these in the game would be great.
I'd especially love to be able to try this Junkers ground attack design out on some T-34's.

My apologies. I should have known this would have already been posted. Glad to see this is sucha welcoming forum.
While I'm here, does anybody know of any good books on the subject of German aircraft design? Preferably something with plenty of good illustrations.
P.S Gibbage1 I am no noob, I've just never felt the need to post here.
It is a very cool site, and very worthy of mention on this forum.I checked this out recently and it does have some amazing designs. You can really see that in the earliest days of jet technology the designers were faced with a tabula rasa and had to work on the theory from the gound up. No one knew what shape a jet should be, so they experimented with all kinds of shapes and sizes.
Now - to REALLY annoy the purists - try suggesting that some of these designs be modelled as flyable aircraft in the next patch.
