I'd be exciting to have a very well designed PvE where you gotta hold points as in breach or Dominion, but based in the army of the white walkers and their wights of Game of Thrones, the enemy players would be 6 lvl 3 bots, when you kill them the enemy army reduces if you kill.them all before they respawn you win. The wights (minions) dont go to a zone or push a ram, they follow their masters so it woulf.be hard to kill them. The wights would die only with fire arrows and catapults or a damagw buff that would set your sword on fire, if you kill.them normally they respaqn in 1 or 2 seconds, they still give you reputation so you can get your powers though.
Why PvE?
To bring a new flavour to an event and make players coordinate and use strategies to win as this mode is supposed to be hard.
Why breach and not dominion format?
It could.be any mode, but I'd prefer breach because you get to hold positions with your bowmen, breach is a large map so many ai controlled units may cause a crash. If that is the case dominion with strategic zones that would have your archers with fire arrows would be interesting.
Victory conditions?
You kill all of the enemy bots before they respawn.
Defeat conditions?
You lose all the points you were holding.
Is this just a zombie survival?
Yes, in a way. But it still has for honor mechanics, objectives and it's not just killing dozens of minions pointlessly.
Is the game engine made for that?
I think so, no one qas expecting it would support a large scale mode but it did support breach, and this is not necedarily a large scale map.
What about the legal rights with HBO?
Yes, this is the catch. If ubisoft decides to take this approach may be HBO can land a deal with the conpany and make a good game about GoT, there are only 2 pc ganes and 1 mobile game of the series, such a wasted potential... in reality I dont believe they'll land a deal and they wont really develop this mode, up untill halloween if any idea sparked their attention.
