Multiplayer : all players playin the same faction | Forums

With my friends, we like to play all in the same faction (same color/flag), each one managing few islands in a unique cooperative team.

It was possible to do in 1404 and in 2070.
It's really frustrating not to be able to do it in 1800, mostly with the new game mechanics needing to develop populations on each island and having the "south" (new world) on an other map

Why not allow this possibility in 1800...?

I totally agree ! I liked the way we can play in 1440 and 2070 online. Everyone for one flag. Same money for everyone, same boats... etc. Each decision is important to grow the cities.
I think this game mod is clearly missing in 1800 while the gameplay fits perfectly to "one player in the old world, and an other in the new world" for example.

Hope you'll add this possibility or the multiplayer will be clearly useless if people wanna play in the "same team", that is not really the "same team" when they have to build their own cities alone.
