It's seriously unethical and close to consumer blackmail. How can they get away with something as shady as that? It's called planned obsolescence and its illegal in France at least. This game was sold to me on the premise I would be able to compete fairly for global leaderboards vs others. Nowhere did it state this would be removed unless i buy an undefinite amount of DLC in the years to come, which I never commited to and no one should. This is complete ********, even in a week that saw replays left broken in total indifference..
And I believe you when you say that's how it was on Fusion. But unless my mind is playing tricks, I distinctively remembers playing a Trials game before where you had leaderboards adapted to what you own. You have base-game only? You keep base game leadearboards. You have DLC? You get the updated base game + DLC leaderboards. Was it Trials Evolution on Xbox 360 maybe? Or even HD? Not sure. But wow, I'm shocked by how shady they have become...
