Added to which, if I'd known there would be a delay with buying through Epic, I'd have bought directly from Uplay!

Yeah I would have done so too, rather than buy from Steam, if I'd known that Uplay were launching more than 24 hours earlier in my timezone. Ah well c'est la vie.

Some people were cancelling pre-orders, but I don't back out of arranged transactions for reasons like that. I can see why a lot of other people do though.

Disregard my previous post... looks like the hell everybody raised may have gotten someone's attention. My copy is "unpacking" on Steam right now. I guess someone in Marketing misjudged the fan-base or wasn't paying attention. I also hear there's a HUGE patch that comes with the initial play, but it is on it's way!

Can finally launch the game now on Epic store.. Will be some long hours at work.
