    lol.
The clue there is "game content and updates", it does not speak of the launch itself.

    It may be, of course.
Still, I find it pretty uncool. What bothers me more is the lack of official answers.

I agree the lack of Ubisoft's presence is quite annoying... A definite answer BEFORE the Uplay launch time for the other two stores would be good. I was gearing up together with a friend with the intent to play for a couple of hours into the night, only to be let down Epic still hasn't released it yet. He's playing, I'm not. So it's better to just sleep it off, go to work, and hopefully be able to play a little when I get home.

Yeah. Going to uninstall Uplay because it seems completely pointless anyways now since my order apparently only works through Steam anyways. Honestly glad to get rid of it because the only point I had it installed was because of Anno 1800.

You will need to install uplay again then, because the game requires uplay.

    *deep sigh*

This is my first Ubisoft purchase ever, and I am not impressed to put it mildly.

To be fair, the fact the game does not unlock on Steam yet isn’t really new.

The unlock games usually at the steam business hours which starts at 9am their local time. That’s how it’s always been on steam. In some very rare occasions have I seen games release at midnight GMT.

    It’s not ubisofts fault.

I wouldn't mind so much, except there's absolute silence from both Epic and Ubisoft about the Epic launch. At least Steam customers (I am one of those as well) had a definitive time given to them. Lack of info is a pet peeve.

I realise it'll turn up eventually, but so much for the brilliance of an Epic Exclusive.

0200am Update #1: Epic has now allowed me to link my Ubisoft and Epic accounts and I'm downloading the game. However, I thought I'd pre-loaded the game already!? Nvm.

0332am Update #2: Well, game is now downloaded, and it's STILL saying 'coming soon' both on the Epic launcher and on Uplay. Soooo what was the point of buying it on Epic again?

Added to which, if I'd known there would be a delay with buying through Epic, I'd have bought directly from Uplay!
