Great. Now I sit around here and wait without any information. I thought the game will be released on all platforms at midnight.

Me too.. A friend is already playing it. Had hoped to play together. He purchased on Uplay as he's never had it before, and I on Epic because I already had funds in my profile (so why not save a little ,right?).

I pre-ordered through Steam. I have also pre-loaded the game through Steam. I realize the game will be out at 18:00 Central European time on Steam, but I cant even find the faintest hint of even owning the game on Uplay. It's like Ubisoft has no record of my purchace so I cant even download the game now through Uplay. What is going on?!?

Oh man, I just saw it too. I find it really unfair that it's released so late on Steam despite the promise of "same availability".

It's normal. You can't activate a preordered game on a third party launcher through Uplay before launch.

If I try to start the game through the shortcut I put on my desktop when I preloaded the game, he's asking for the key which Epic never gave me, so I can't connect it to my Uplay. Are there more people that didn't get the key from Epic?

I don't think we'll get a key per se to type in manually. I guess that's part of what remains to be downloaded.
We can only wait and see. Worst case it's like an 18 hour wait for us on Epic as well.

on steam when you will start game for first time you will get redirected to uplay and then you will get the game in uplay also
