That's the thing; the developers are in between a rock and a hard place...

While trying to curb deranking in legendary, they made it easier for the guys to derank all the way down to wooden shields.

The only decent option is a very difficult one because a significant number of players (me included) will be super pissed off... but it will work...

Reduce the packs significantly. That way, if you finally make it to legendary, its worth the packs. Now because at my level (+-5800) the PVP packs are as good as it was (if not better) than what we were getting in Legendary -+top 5000 players.

AND AND AND... can we please get back to the stage where once we make it into legendary; we cant drop back into he silver shields (after like 6200 or something) It is killing working so hard to get into legendary and by the time i open my pack, I am back in 5900 somewhere.

I am just appreciative of the PVP packs as is; I feel that the PVP packs we are getting now are way better than what we have ever been getting. And they are also intuitive... i noticed that i get more cards which have been requested from my team showing up in my PVP packs as well. Thanks guys!

OH WELL... as i said... was in legendary for all the matches... lost the last match just before my PVP pack and i got 32 bottle caps instead of 36.. that's ********!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my view the real problem is that there is no need to get higher in rank in the legendary arena becauseas you can see there are only 100 players above 7400. I can't compete with them, so once i reached 6700, since now you are rewarded by the highest ranking you've had, it just makes sense to stay at 6200 where the games are easier. If you want it to be competitive , switch the reward system back.

Sounds like they will do something to boost the season rewards this time around (perhaps permanently?) to account for the screw up specifically and the increased difficulty in getting higher tiers in general, at least according to Buck's posts on their new discord.

By the way Buck, that would be some great information to share in the weekly dev updates as well! Not everyone can troll through all these info sources to track down random bits of important information.

I agree, I think it's in their best interests to let as many people as they can know about any kind of compensation or temporary actions to fix things. I think they could pacify a few people.

I am considering quitting too. Way to hard to barely get into the Legendary league then you get bumped out so fast.

I guess an end of the weekend update would do to catch up a few people if there's anything important, such as the boosting rewards in the end of season packs suggested by camelchasers.

For sure, and it would really only take a couple hours to put together and get approved in absolute worst case.

I can see from Buck's discord announcement this morning that the rewards are basically getting boosted by 2 tiers this season at least, so the tier 4 reward is the same as the top 250 was last season and tier 3 looks about the same as the top 10 was. Glad to see they will make that concession to help with the ELO issues this time around.
