I haven't been able to play this morning due to the madness. I'm in legendary, but if I get my PVP pack now I'm risking a drop back into silver just before team wars packs drop, so clearly RL now have a game where sometimes you choose not to play when PVP pack is available (has happened a few times in last week) due to potential impact of doing so.

Im at the 900 spot right now (was 700 before the uppdate), but yeah it sucks that you can fall out of legendary.
I was going in and out of legendary this first week and its a real drag!!! The worst part is that you loose the ability to get BT from the second pvp pack of the day.
I will probably fall out of the Ladder again.
But i feel that if we are going to fight again when the season resets then its not fun any more.

But then you don't end up getting your fix of SPPD.
I have a solution... it will take time, but I am considering starting another account from scratch and building up.
That way u can leave that account in legendary and only use it when its time for PVP packs.
You can use the new account to get your fix of SPPD.

This should not be the solution though, you know, it should be RL to fix and communicate clearly to the communicate. So many have raged on so many things in the last week, yet not one of us got any answer yet. And I bet you that today's update will be mostly BS. Well, i really dont want to make this thread a complaint thread (and thats really hard since the update is garbage).
I have played this game since soft launch and i had really enjoyed it, and even met some new and fantastic friends (even Irl!!!).
I had put a fair (more then fair!!) share of real money and time in this game and to be honest i feel really, really cheated on by RL!
Team wars and BT is really fun, the events are ok (feels more of a job nowdays) and challenge is... i dont really know were i stand there, sometimes its fun and other times its just booooring!
I not going to talk about the bugs, everyone knows and are plauged by them.

The current ranking system has the seeds of disaster sown into it if Legendary reset happens as before. Here’s why - after each match, an equal number of points changes hands. Therefore, the overall number of points in the system stays the same. But the Legendary reset will significantly lower the overall number of points by bringing everyone’s rating back down. So we’ll be fighting over an increasingly dwindling pool of points. Moreover, as new players make their way into legendary it will be at the expense of veteran players whose points they stole.
The only way to counteract this is to infuse new points into the system. Before it was done by making people who got into Legendary the sacrificial lambs - they started with 10000 points and immediately got feasted on by veteran Legendary players. Now ... I don’t see the mechanism for infusing new points into the system. Usually after a couple weeks when the top 500 move into high ranks, there’s a little stretching room for the next tier to gain points. Right now it doesn’t seem that way. So yeah ... I also want to see how legendary resets go because unless something happens which I don’t see we’ll all be fighting to stay in silver by Christmas
