Improvement suggestions
Besides the very necessary bug fixes which are stated multiple times in the forums, here are some suggestions from my side of perspective to better the game overall:
Multiplayer:
-faults should definitely matter in some sort; add 5 secs to the final finish time, or bring back the additional points for faults; they should also be shown somewhere while racing
-DNFing should be punished obviously, which could happen like it did in evo with 1 point for last, 2 points for the guy in front of the last etc
-the private MP is missing an option section where you can change time after the first rider finished, the bail-out option, allowed number of faults etc (see fusion)
-some people stated that not all maps are available while setting up the heats; i haven't checked up on that as of now
-I don't really think it's a bug, so I will include it here also: Winning in a multiplayer match (getting 1st place after 3 heats) should NEVER EVER leave you with losing points. I think this mechanic was adressed a little bit with the last patch, but I still lose points when I get first after finishing a session, which sometimes might be due to getting low gold/even silver because of faulting; but the amount of points you get shouldn't almost purely be based on the medals you get (which also doesn't always work), but they should be calculated considering the individual times/medals achieved on the 3 maps, as well as the placements and the average mmr/elo of the other players in the lobby
-which 3 tracks you get for selection before each heat should be based on the average mmr/elo of the lobby also, I believe this is intended/planned but doesn't quite work out. I was playing with golds/silvers, had golds leaving mid game and that leading to getting more difficult tracks. I would suggest the following probabilities for the difficulty of each map in the selection (numbers are percentages here, and they need a reconsideration, my POV obv):
Average elo Bronze: Beginner 10/Easy 60/Medium 30
Avg. Silver: Easy 20/Medium 40/Hard 40
Avg. Gold: Medium 30/Hard 60/Extreme 10
Avg. Plat: Medium 10/Hard 50/Extreme 30/(low)Ninja 10
Avg. Diamond: Hard 30/Extreme 50/Ninja 20
This could be more detailed, f.e. take into consideration the avg elo of the group and create different steps, f.e. 1200 elo, 1500, 1800, 2000, 2200 etc. And PLEASE PLEASE UbiLynx add good TC tracks to the global MP playlist in the future.
Singleplayer:
-I was and still am a huge fan of the tournaments which still happen on fusion where you can earn in game currency for completing some tracks in a row, comparing faults and time needed; that way you would be able to earn acorns that way too (and if you would also bring tourneys where you can earn the other currency besides acorns [forgot the name lol] make it worth playing at least. Nobody wants to play a tournament containing 6 or more individual tracks to get a max reward of 1000 in the end like in fusion)
-just try to adjust the way the TC works to be like it was in fusion; i think hardly anybody ever complained about the central in fusion once it worked properly
