Ships slow sailing against the wind and sometimes slow down for no apparent reason

Ships are way too slow when sailing against the wind. It may be realistic, but the speed difference is way too big compared to when sailing with the wind. It just takes way too long to sail across the map like this. Not fun at all from a gameplay perspective. Also in combat situations, when pursuing another ship, it's just very tedious. I don't remember it being this bad in the Closed Beta.

Also I've seen some occasions where several ships of the same type, without any cargo/items and no damage, still sail at different speeds. I don't know what causes this. The ship were in UNgrouped mode.

Same here (different speed of the ships)

I also experienced the different speed of the ships in every multiplayer rounds.

Sometimes it happened with the flagship (soon after the game start), sometimes with military ships.
For example, yesterday i built two ship-of-the-line in a row and navigate them into the battle.
They were brand new ships without any cargo item or upgrade or any damage. And I was surprised to see that they were moving at different speeds.

Today my flagship was the victim. Shortly after we started our multiplayer session and after I finished two or three quests, my flagship was broken.
The ship was moving like if it were fully loaded AND broken AND sailing against the wind at the same time. I had to destroy it and buy a new one. Buying a new one solved the problem.

    Inconsistent wind to sail speeds

I am seeing ships moving slowly against the wind = correct.
Then turning they take a 90' Turn into the wind instead of WITH the wind which is what a sailboat would do = Could be done better

I am also seeing ships that are sailing across or perpendicular to the prevailing wind icon *Indicator) and not gaining a speed boost = With the wind to your back or a 45' the sails should be giving a speed boost.

Hopefully we can monitor and improve this. I am sorry I do not currently have video of it.
