If that was indeed his intent then he would have done so. At the very least his intent to want to do so would have been relatively easily fathomable.
No, his intent is to directly undermine TD2 because it does not fit with his particular D1 playstyle. Rather than adapt, overcome and at the very least attempt to contribute to the betterment of TD2, he pilots the pity-wagon straight off a cliff, all the while sprouting his catch-phrase "Aaaahhh, you know, it's just....not.....The Division 1".
It's asinine.
The Division 2 doesn't fit his playstyle and that is fine. The game shouldn't have to. Personally, I think the Division 2 is a much better game than the first on a multitude of levels.Originally Posted by Goo-Goo-Man Go to original post
Still to get back to topic, lets talk about the issues:
- Normalization rendering gadget mods inoperable and Normalization rendering gear modifiers useless (I think normalization should flatten excessive damage and health/armor values from levels/gear score not flatten modifiers)
- Lack of counter play, depth, and tactical options midfight in certain PvP situations - like the examples I gave for Siege
- Conflict switching spawn areas and making the spawn areas harmful for the spawners
Marco will rise and fall on his own. I personally avoid underestimating people, because you never know when they can turn the tables and surprise you. The M700 Plain Jane was such a problem he stated, and he developed a meta that had to be curbed. Underestimating a person like this to me seems like a bad idea. I could think of a number of problems these issues could cause if they are left unfixed.
Marco, if he was not so burned out, is exactly the type of person who would take advantage of them and make videos of how to do so. Keep that in mind.

A pity that he does not get that. Or, given the doubt that he actually does, his inability to accept said fact gracefully.
Oh hell yes - it's like chalk and cheese.Originally Posted by TimesLostArc Go to original post

It's not what you say: It's how you say it.
He has no constructive intent to contribute towards the betterment of TD2. As such he will be best advised to just step away. Unfortunately he does not and has embarked on a campaign of 'not-so-veiled' discontent and animosity towards TD2, using his followers and Yootoob influence to further advance his narrative. That's the issue I have a problem with.
There's absolutely nothing to underestimate - his intent is so transparent it's farsical, compounded by the fact of his complete obliviousness in failing to hide his obvious contempt and disdain.Originally Posted by TimesLostArc Go to original post
There are plenty of content-creators doing just that whilst maintaining a reasonable degree of objectivity. But hey, it is what it is, the internets and all...….Originally Posted by TimesLostArc Go to original post
Hey everyone. This thread has sort of devolved from discussion on the content of the video into just a flame war about the creator of the video and between players. So I will be closing the thread down. Further discussion on the PvP aspects of The Division 2 are highly encouraged, but please remember to be respectful to each other and stay on topic. Thank you.
