Hijacking this about ships.. So my experience of playing probably 20h or more on same Save.
City constructing&trading 5/5
Graphics 4/5
Ship combat 0/5
Everything was enjoyable for several hours, trading and building until I reached a point that I went to war.
So I believe you devs have only tested ship combat with like 1-4 ships...
One word horrible combat, ships are going wherever they want spreading out of their fleet even if passive defence... and that is not fun at all with like 40 ships or more.
Also going from new world to old world or the other way around the ships will come often one by one and some comes from the left of the map some comes from the right end of the map.. all split up while you are at war and want them to be grouped...
Also when they arrive they are heading somewhere far away so have to take and select them when they arrive each and manage them like some wild cows on loose...
Making them go to the new world for example also makes them stretch out from the group in a line and then sometimes some ships just stops and doesn't go to the new world or old world maybe because they destroyed a ship or something else but then you have to select them all and make them go again.
And when you can't zoom out further it is hard to select those wild cows on loose... Also I really hope in the full game you can get a lot of influence points with those investors whatever they are because when your ships get destroyed you won't receive back any, neither by capturing enemy bases so when I had a lot of money and a big fleet I went to war with one AI at a time and I very soon was then below 0 with influence points and never could buy more ships. It's not like I could have started to create a huge city with thousands of people to gain a bit influence for couple ships while I need to manage my wild cows doing their stupid things.
