[HINT] Dont group for Missions - solo is much easier! | Forums

Just quick hint for people with decent gear who havent tried it yet: Dont group, do missions solo! You will be suprised how easy it is to kill the NPCs. The group HP scaling of NPCs is horrible (+ you dont know if you get grouped with noobs who cant deal DMG). Challenging / Heroic is np.

It will get even easier after the next patch, since they want to lower the difficulty even more.

1-3 is is pretty much the same as solo. It's a 4 group where you suddenly find that your strong build is a bunch of wet noodles. I wish you could set your group size for group finder. At least as a stopgap until the 4 man spongefest is addressed.

I played the entire game solo. I find it more entertaining now to do challenge missions with a 4-man group. It's just more exciting.

easier yes, less loot YES... I do 4man for the more loot and I like the challenge

Did heroic Tidal Basin last night with a random group, no mics and after one wipe half way through(pain having to go back to start) we only wiped once on the last part and did it second time.
First heroic group stuff I had tried in a group.
Was a good laugh and a good challenge, hopefully they don't make things too easy.
Maybe make challenging harder, heroic as it is and hard easier for people struggling.
Challenging is starting to become a bit easy in a group of 4.
Can still be tough depending on the mission though, the One with hyenas when you defend a laptop or something at one point is a right pain in the ***, cant remember the name of it.
Can do everything solo apart from level 4 control points so I for one think the difficulty level is good.

wait... people struggle with hard? they are dead easy and dull, challenging is where the fun begins and I usually run 4man random grp without mics

and yes I am a "total noob" to Division... I played Division 1, for 1 evening while waiting for my GPU to arrive with code for Division 2... I am no expert and definetly don't have the best build in the world... But where I find it hard is heroic, "Hard" is a joke, Challenge is fun

Took a CP last night in a 4 man, WT5 and I think we had like 25 elites spawn.


Talk about annoying.


If I take a CP solo it is way, way easier and takes about a quarter of the time.

I always play the 0-30 campaign as solo as I can and take my time, then from 30 on wards, it's the opposite, I'll always group up with other agents for invaded missions, bounties, strong holds, etc. I just enjoy playing alongside other players who enjoy the game like I do, and we all rez each other, more loot, etc.

I don't think I'll ever run Heroic solo.
