I think I am gonna do some testing today at the shooting range, doing crit hits with no points in crit damage and checking the numbers popping up.

Or has someone else tested this yet?
It depends on your gear. Also, don't forget about crit range on SMG and AR.

This for sure mate! I think even when there is no such crit damage multiplier and it depends solely on the crit damage shown under stats in the character menu, that a really high amount coupled with the right talents could outperform raw weapon damage as a few talents are boosting it pretty extreme e.g. the strained talent.

Yep, high crit and no crit damage isnt a good plan. Thats what ive done so far. I like to see big numbers. Well, i wasnt seeing big numbers just orange ones .

Yep. But raw dmg is better in any case with crit base Gear (like strained or obliterate) if values are almost doubled (1% WD ~2%HSD for example)

I guess there is no multiplier.

Tested before on the shooting range:

    Crit chance: 39%
    Crit damage: 25%

    Used weapon: LMG M249 Para

    Testing restrictions: Only bodyshots

    Normal weapon damage: 17647 (white)
    Landed crit hit: 22060 (orange)

I repeated this process for 300 rounds only hitting the body center. The numbers I got where always either 17647 or 22060.

    22060 : 17647 = 1.25007

As you can see I only landed crits with the 25% crit damage. There is no crit multiplier then. Please consider that my testing was just for a short time and some factors might be not taken into account.
