Anyone noticed that Field Proficiency caches no longer drops the bonus item? | Forums

At first I didn't notice, but then after farming lvls for a day to get the apparel event keys I kind of got the impression that didn't saw a bonus item from caches, tought to myself ah maybe it dropped but I don't remember or something.

But got the bug behind my ear and started to note down just to make sure, and here are the results after a few days:

21 caches 0 bonus items

Well, that's your "50% chance that a field proficiency cache drops a bonus item"

Either is bugged (Most likely) or I have been on extreme wrong side of luck, conidering that most of the time before the update I got a bonus item I am more for the bug version.

it still does but it feels like A LOT less than 50% chances.

if 50% chances lands on the same result so many times in a row ; i should start playing roulette and put everything on black, everytime

Got a few yesterday, today zero. I'm gonna play some more and report back because like you said it's chance.

Yeah it really upsets me that the proficiency caches don't drop that bonus chem launcher mod or the super stealthy firefly mod. It's almost enough to make me quit this and play Anthem.

Just opened 2 and got bonus items on both, same yesterday, bonus items on 2 out of 5... so idk, rng ?

Just opened 3 caches, bonus items in two, so working fine here. (PC)

Works fine for me as well. Sometimes I get several in a row, sometimes its a while before I see one. Such drops are always 50/50. Either you get one, or you dont.
