Military G36 - is it so rare? | Forums

I am trying to find the Military G36, no matter what quality or roll.
I just can't seem to find it at all. It's the G36 version with long barrell.

I am farming weapon crates, CP3, getting proficiency caches... nothing.
It's like this weapon is not even in the game, at least for me.

Is the loot really random or is there like a weekly rotation of specific items?

Again, I am not farming for a good version, I am just looking for any version at all.

Yeah, it's RNG just being RNG.

I for one am looking for a Tactical M1911 but can't seem to find one. All I get is the M45A1 or regular 1911s.

Edit: And I would imagine it's there, just that you've been unlucky. I still get the Military P416 and the Custom P416 from time to time.

I got tons of them pre WT5. I have one now with a gear score of 496, but its damage/stats are lower than my 460'something CTAR. It sits in my inventory, only to be equipped before I open a loot box, so it doesn't see me with a low level weapon and give me a 470 or what ever.

G36 has rather lackluster stats to begin with, that could be one of the reasons your CTAR appears better.

It's not rare, but it's random for the drop. In my case I keep on getting that gun, the G36C and the enhanced one

G36 enhanced is my preferred AR, and even though its stats don't really make it seem that great, its effectiveness is -- in my opinion -- the best. Yes, it does seem hard to get. RNG is not completely random, or at least I hope it isn't. Seem to have a better chance getting good stuff like this at control points if the supply crate is available, enemy controller territory crates, or downing named bosses.

Glad to see I'm not the only one with a penchant for the G36.
I'm actually glad to see them when they drop (still using it on TD1). Rare as it is - unless it's a lower GS, then it's a sad sigh.
