Same here. We have 3 PCs running the game and mine is the 4th. I haven't had a problem until now.... I created a ticket and their response was "It's probably your network firewall blockin gout request to access the patch."
We have 3 other PCs who didn't have a problem accessing the patch... so why am I?
Have you verified the game's files on the PC that isn't playing the game? That's the first thing I'd do if there was an issue accessing patch data.Originally Posted by FrozenRope2 Go to original post
Good question: yes, verifying the game files was the first thing that I did. I had not played the game in 2 weeks so there were a few game patch downloads that each required a restart of the game. It was during the 3 restart the that Oscar-01 error occurred. I have verified the game files 3 times, uninstalled and reinstalled the game and have tried restarting the game 20+ times and cannot get past the Oscar-01 error code.
My 3 kids all have the game running on their PCs and the only thing different was that they pay every day and didnt allow a few patches to queue up.
I submitted a ticket a week ago and received notification that this had been routed to development for analysis... and then support closed the ticket. I have since reopened it... but have not been able to play for a week.
I can play all other Ubi softt and non Ubisoft games without problems.
Usually I'm pretty good at sifting troubleshooting myself, but those that have reported problems in the forum have yet to find an answer.![]()
