Not to sound offensive but out of all the priority issues and major bug fixes such as crafting bench stuck on previous WT or physics glitch which get people stuck on ladders etc the patch did these following fixes?
Fixed not being able to fast travel to the Castle settlement.
Fixed several cases of abnormal Bounty boss skill-use behaviour.
Fixed an issue causing the Nemesis crafting materials to be unobtainable.
Fixed Delta-03 error occurring at the end of Conflict matches.
Fixed an issue that would cause the pathfinding line to behave abnormally when in close proximity to your destination.
Fixed the “donating” sound playing repeatedly after having donated and abandoned a daily mission.
Fixed an issue related to cache countdown timers.
Fixed an issue where Specialization ammunition drop rate was lower than intended
I understand the specialize ammo drop is a priority but for the rest? Personally fast travelling to castle settlement is a minor issue that most people don't even know, i didn't realize most of these bug exist. Honestly these are priority bug fixes? For the nemesis crafting materials , the weapon is not even out yet so collecting the few pieces of materials is useless at the moment anyway but this takes priority over the rest? say after taking a CP 4 and ally npcs get killed and after killing all hostile we get stuck on a CP that is neutral and cannot take over thus no rewards or anything.
There are litterally ten if not twenty other priority issues but these are the ones getting addressed? so 1 week to fix the above issues that some are minute? such as cache countdown timer. Really? thats a priority issue that needs to be address asap over others?
It's a serverside patch and there's only so much they can do without a client patch as well
because if they touch stuff that needs a client update.. the game goes bang..
In a perfect world, we'd also get a patch tonight.. hell we'd get patched every time a fix is found and not have to wait for a big update.
But.. us pesky console players and our evil corporate masters hold that up
Sony charges per patch and takes about 2 weeks to "test" each one.. not sure if Xbox does the same.. but THAT is why we can't have nice things.
So you think they should wait until every single bug is fixed before they release any fixes?Originally Posted by QuantumAtlas Go to original post
This post makes no sense whatsoever.
They are putting out the fixes that they have been able to fix, so far.
If you honestly think they are not trying to fix the other issues like the stuck at GS200 Work benches, or things that are preventing progression then you are delusional.
Maybe you think if everyone stopped what they were doing and crowded round a single monitor, giving suggestions on how to fix a particular issue it would all go a lot smoother.
I do hope you take the 3hrs downtime expected with the maintenance to go and have a wee lie down.
I don't think you realized or are informed enough to know that some of the fixes will take months to fix as stated by the developers , so the crafting bench issue might take a moth to fix maybe less i dunno but they did mention most issues will not be fixed that quick, so think about it , what if some issues will not get fixed till after the raid comes out or maybe after episode 2 comes out. Are you willing to play a game that has the said issues till then?Originally Posted by TheVavil Go to original post
"We want fixes NOW, it can't be that hard, just fix it already!!"
*Fix gets rushed out and creates regression bugs elsewhere*
"Ugh, didn't you even TEST this stuff??"

Best analogy for video game players. It will happen. Given how open they were on SOTG I firmly believe they will get stuff out as soon as feasible. Add to it a PTS is coming.Originally Posted by ClamJouster Go to original post
