    [BUG] Matchmaking STILL BROKEN in Australia on all platforms

    Since the Tidal Basin update all Australian players on all platforms are getting assigned to the Asian servers when matchmaking.

    If we matchmake solo, we always get matched up with players on the Asian servers which means playing with anywhere north of 200ms ping and playing with people who we can't communicate with because we speak completely different languages.

    If we get into a group with another Australian player (so that we don't get kicked off the Australian servers) and then matchmake, we will never get anyone joining our group because, well, all the other Australians trying to use matchmaking are getting sent to the Asian servers.

    I'm sorry to hear that you are having these troubles with connecting to other players in your region. Please let me know what time you are trying to connect, what ISP you are using, and if you have friends who have the same issue and live in your area please have them also reach out to us.

    I can see there are other players with a similar issue. Please note that the number of players I'm seeing in these threads could be an issue related to specific connection issues, so we will need to look into that first. I recommend the steps in our connection troubleshooting FAQ for The Division 2.

    Can confirm - still broken - XBOX matchmaking

    Hi There,

    I am in Brisbane - on Fibre to the Door, everything else Xbox works fine including matchmaking. With the exception of Division 2. I have opened all the required ports as posted. However it seems not matter what time of the day or night I play, I do not see other players and I cannot get a group together.

    Example, logged in this morning first thing I did was Q for a mission, my social is set to OPEN and I went off to do other things. 45 mins passes, matchmaking is still running, not a single hit.

    I go to DZ-E, not a single other player was to be seen.

    So log out, throw my Xbox in the DMZ and try it again - 30 mins later - still no match, not even on random activity.. nothing.

    I have friends who play from Australia who have the EXACT same issue. If we are online together we can join friends game fine, but if you do match making.. forget it.

    Where are we being shunted? just let us connect to NA, the game is good but its WAY better with other people.

    I have it on both PC and XBOX but I am shying away from the Xbox version because I cant play with others via matchmaking, i suspect I will end up trading the Bone version unless this is resolved and stick to PC. - Which is a shame, Bone version is the only way I can be sure there will be no cheating in the DZ (after the rubbish D1 and cheaters on PC)

    Service Provider is TPG - no data cap or throttle
    100M/b FTTD
    Average speed is 97 down 44 up (pretty consistently)
    On Ethernet (not wifi)
    All required ports open
    UPnP enabled

    As I said everything else I play works.. just NOT D2.

    * Please address or give us the ability to pick NA as a server location
