Try some Heroic 4-man bounties where the named boss has immunity until you break his tiny *** pouch on his tush. Which he never shows because he's always trying to assplow you. Forces you to split up in different directions and try to get a bead on them. And they run when you break their weakpoint until it's back up again or they heal, forcing everyone to get aggressive or be stuck firing until you run out of ammo. Get caught out for even a second or two while pursuing, and you're dead. I appreciate the challenge though. But honestly, it sounds like your TTK can be vastly improved. Just hang in there until you're sporting 500-515 and get your build chugging along. Then try it again and compare. It really just comes down to having the right set of talents and good weapons.
You realize I was solo right, in gear score around 465, Bank Head Quarters, Worldtier 5, solo.#

Didnt I just tell you that despite sub 500, I was shredding Tank earlier.
Didnt I write that I cleared the ENTIRE last room in 1.5 minutes, SOLO...

My TTK is about as freaking good as it can get, while still remaining tanky, FOR MY gearscore. It can vastly be improved if your GS500.

But I sit on around 35ish % crit with 50% elite dmg, its ok gear when gearing up some pieaces are not super.

Your post shows you never done this solo but only in groups. Hence, re read the post then write back. Or go do it solo, and tell me how you felt.

Your referring to 4 man stuff, while Im writing about solo.

    Why is this stupid exactly?

If it listed "Warning, this is a team mission, not scalable by additional people joining. And recomended gearscore is 485" for example.

Go and do Bank Headquarters on challenging solo then come back here and call it stupid.

And even if not, the comment you make, shows quite alot about you as a person.
Take more time to listen, be more empathic, and open, and above all, grow up.

Its a game. I play to have fun. I dont mind being overly challenged.
But when its not a challenge but outright bad design, its not fun. And Bank Headquarters and alot of other content on challenging and heroic is bad designed. Lazy designed.

Its 1 shot mechanics with bullet sponges. The tactics you had prior is gone and now its about rolling the dice and hope to have some luck.

    Gearscore: 481.

You really need to have a build with good synergy.
If you soloed Bank Headquarters, saving the president and all that in a 1 shot, solo at gearscore 481.
    Ill eat my hat.

You sure as heck didnt set it on challenging OR we are talking about a different mission.

    Try again.l

    Pug equals : Pickup group.

    Im talking solo.

In a group this mission is more then fine and again, nothing changes from solo to grouping, mobs dont get extra health etc.

505 is not exactly sub 500 gearscore if you ask me. And 485 means you sit on some close to 500 gs but either way, you played in a group. Which is awesome.

But the missions should state that you should group or they should be scaled to solo.

The main issue however is the damage enemies does. Thats literally it. The rest is just fine.

I'm at 509. I run every heroic and challenging mission solo with very little issue. The problem at the end of this mission is ai health. With no one around them, I unload a clip and they miraculously form an overshield. I take down at least 30 enemies before they wipe me cause I run out of ammo. Tried solo, tried 2, tried 4. This mission has ruined the game for me. 300 hours in and I'm done. Eff this.

Done that mission pretty easy. Only problem - last fight, but nothing too hard at all
Same for me, not a problem. Only the bastards smg users...they randomly one shot you. Boring and easy mission like the others on challenging

It’s not really difficult at all solo. You just have to watch what you do tbh. I run it with just an MMR and a Super 90, mostly I snipe 98% of the time.

You're going to need higher weapon damage and higher damage to elites.

In the vault section, place a flame turret facing towards the doorway when all the enemies spawn out from. When you press the laptop thing whatever in data room, switch on your flame turret. Run down there and start shooting all the enemies on fire. It's better and preferable that you have survivalist specialisation for incendiary grenades. when you notice flame duration nearly out of battery life, turn it off and throw incendiary grenades. Keep doing this, after each incendiary grenades flame gone. The timer will tick tock down to 0:30 thirty seconds left. This is the ideal time to run back to the laptop data room, otherwise mission will fail at 0:00 deadline timer. Anyway, when it happens and it says secure room, just kill 'em all.

The rest is easy... as long as you crowd control, use chem launcher healing, hive reviver in case you trip. Just play smart.

I have to admit, I struggle with this mission on challenging and I have, i think, a damn effective build. However, I only struggle on one bit, and thats protecting the computer for 2 minutes. I have completed it, but thats probably the toughest part of any mission for me. Dealing with the minigunner, elite rushers, drone spam and grenade spam. Too many high threat npc's that you have to be out of cover for to deal with. You get two rushers come up the stairs whin someone tosses a molotov and two drones are exploding over head - pain in the arse. I have tactics to complete it but sometimes it comes down to rng, on the damage you deal and get dealt.

The final battle at the end is easy. I think people struggle because they run in to the courtyard and then have to fart arse about dodging everything. I do everything from the doorway and have never failed to complete that part. Choosing where you fight is a massive part of this game. It isnt about tanking damage whilst sticking the barrel of your short range weapon in to an NPC's face.
