Massive, why try to re-invent the wheel while you had a solid base at the end of TD1

    - Gear sets were better
    - Recalibration was excellent
    - Crafting was better
    - Mods were good
    - Builds were easier but still working
    - Talents were better and not locked behind specializations and damn I liked to switch them on the fly between fights
    - Grenade were better and not locked behind specializations
    - Consumables (water, Energy Bar, Soda...etc) were not just random buffs

The only good thing gameplay-wise from TD2 are the Brand Sets, which are a god send addition.

The Gear sets pre-Classified were better, imo. Locking people into 6-piece sets kind of kills creativity.
Recalibration was good, but based in RNG. The recalibration in Div2 allows more control over what you get.
Crafting is irrelevant in both games, lol.
The mods in both games are good, just because you don't get OP mods with like 4 bonuses, doesn't mean they're not good.
You had like four choices of builds by the end of TCD1.
Having the options for talents was nice on paper, but most of them were useless or never used in end-game. There were like 8 viable options out of the 16-20 or so that there were.
I do agree with the grenades thing, though. I liked having the EMP grenade handy for annoying enemy electronics.
I also miss the consumables and special ammo, the 30 rounds we get from the random boxes hardly lasts at all, you might kill one enemy with them and get virtually zero value.

Well you see they probably hired a new team to do D2 so they decided they could do better than the D1 team. And there was no way they were going to build on someone else's work and build something great. They new that they could do better! And it shows ...... what you can do when you are arrogant!

    .
Yep 6-p set were not that interesting and I always to mix them, but now we are having the same problem but with worst gear sets.

I still prefer TD1 recalibration where you could exchange stamina for electronics or firearms, weapon with a BUNCH of talents and all of this without sacrificing your stash.

It was still useful and the blueprints were easier to find.

The requirements for them are extremely awkward, and the talents requirements are even worst.

You have one build in TD2
ps : I never said that they didn't need some work

There were already a couple of threads about TD2 simply being TD1.5. imagine the outcry if they made it more similar.

Better have a working 1.5 than broken 2.0.
