Cooldown on wallsplats to ease gank pressure
Since ganking has become the meta for 4v4 modes and current revenge is nowhere near as effective as a gank deterrent as it was in season 1, can we look at a few ways to mitigate the guaranteed death sentence?
The 3&4 on 1 ganks are happening in probably 90% of matches I play now (Oceania Xbox and PC - they're animals). Always the same, throw you against a wall and dogpile on while you are unable to input because you're just bouncing off a wall, until you flash yellow and promptly die pressing Y. A cooldown of 2000-3000ms perhaps?
Ganking is way out of hand. It's the number 1 reason that people I've introduced to the game have decided it's not for them. It has made the game virtually inaccessible to new players and taken most of the enjoyment out of the game for a lot of regular players.
It'd also help if damage reduction was significantly increased for situations with 3 or 4 opponents, I'm talking in the area of 70%-80% to make such fights completely unprofitable.
Since the skill reset, and matchmaking now relying on outright wins, it's been a nightmare to even get back to level 2 bots as 9 out of 10 matches are just roving gank-squads spamming lights, unblockables and quadruple OOS punishes.
I'm hoping some anti-gank ideas get some traction with the developers, because it's getting very tired feeling like Jodie Foster in The Accused every time you play a match.
