    What's with the loot drops?

So I finished Tidal Basin yesterday and got into WT5. Ever since activating WT5 I haven't gotten a single drop higher than level 450. Do I have to have a higher gear score before higher score gear drops? At the moment if I want something higher than 450 I either have to craft it, recalibrate to get an increase or buy from a vendor.

I know it's only been a day but I've gotten a ton of loot since then and not a single thing higher than 450. Just before posting this I had an elite drop a 437. I've noticed the difficulty go up from WT4 to WT5 but my drops are exactly what I was getting in WT4.

I'm really hoping it's just some kind of bug. My luck with crafting is abysmal and having to rely on it for any kind of upgrade is going to be a nightmare, and vendor items are almost always garbage.

yeah i had the same problem, in WT4 once you would go up 10 or 20 points some time on each new drop, in WT5 its 2 to 3 points and it makes it miserable to get to the top. Also, in WT4 once you hit 450 everything was viable, i was getting 450 items out of boxes in the open world, in wt5 i struggled my way up to 500 just throwing on whatver gear i got that was higher leveled just to raise my average, then i i complete tidal basin on challenging which is a huge pain in the *** and not at all fun and none of the gear i got from the whole damn stronghold was over 495. Loot felt waaaaaaayyyyy better the way it was in WT4 where everything you got seemed useable, here its like 1 piece in 100 is worth a damn. Ive grinded for probably 20 hours at 500 GS and still dont have anything resembling the build i had at 450 and that one didnt take anywhere near as long.

Your field proficiency caches will give you improved GS gear, and slowly you will work your way up. Every FP cache for me is now 500 gear and most mission rewards are, However, open world loot and drops is still vey random.

    Its probably better this way.

Weeks of challenging missions, bounties etc, opening maybe hundreds of loot boxes daily, ALL drops either just under what I have, which isn't highest stats, just GS 500.
Nothing worth keeping in 3-4 weeks of grinding, no exotics, in short, no incentive to keep playing. Way to go devs, the game is stalled in a few months!!
