10% increase in weapon damage for 10% armor lost. If i have a shotgun hitting for 100k and i'm out of armor, whip out the shotgun for a last minute shot, it should be a 200k hit. Has anyone seen it work? An smg hitting for 10k and half of my armor gone it should hit for 15k. I have it equipped, but really havent seen a big difference in my damage.
It works but seems off to me. Not sure how this is calculated. It would seem that based on how it is written you would be correct with your numbers. 100k with armor, no armor 200k but it does not seem to do this. I switched to unstoppable force. It would seem this would give less damage but all you need to do is kill someone. You can use cover, no need to worry about having no armor etc. I have a 10 , 7 , 0 build with 210k armor so after a kill I get an extra 41% damage. Based on what I am seeing this seems to work as you would expect. Unfortunately I did not write down the damage numbers when I was testing it outOriginally Posted by Geemarc123 Go to original post
You have to remember that certain talents/attributes are calculated differently. I'm betting that Berserk is additive based off base weapon damage. So lets say you have a shotgun that if you were naked did 10k damage. Berserk would add 100% damage to it when armor was depleted. So adding 10k. But since you are never naked and have attributes that increase your damage your ingame first shot might be 25K, but you're not going to see 50k with full berserk, you're only going to see 35k. Not sure if I explained that very well or not lol
I was going to add unstoppable in place of beserk, but i cant do it and keep patience active on my kneepads. I might skip the patience, and add unstoppable, with the 15% armor on kill from badger set, to keep somewhat tanky. So badger aok, with unstoppable could be a common sense alternative, based on kills.Originally Posted by cditty72 Go to original post
The shorter answer is don’t bother with shotties, they are complete and utter garbage unless you play conflict and use a premeditated double barrel shottie. Any dmg you can do other weapon class can do faster, more reliably, from further range and more sustainedOriginally Posted by Beard_0 Go to original post
Both patience and unstoppable have the same requirements 7 defense ....Originally Posted by NORTHBOERN1 Go to original post
Kind of, but if its based on the given damage, 100k lets say, it should double when 100% of armor is gone, not including crit and head shot. So add the headshot damage, but it should still have a base of 200k now. Maybe its too much maths for the coding?Originally Posted by Beard_0 Go to original post![]()
Right, but if i switch to unstoppable i drop below 7 with the other pieces i want to keep on.Originally Posted by ROMEO-H66 Go to original post
