Suggestion - Upcoming and all existing exos/sets should have multi-stage obtaining

Perhaps the current sets and exotics are not very popular, not seem to be the best ones ever created, or not seem to be that useful yet (we'll see if any of them will be useful in the raid), but this thread isn't about buffing/changing/reworking the current sets. I want to tell which way of obtaining the exotics/set is way more interesting and fun to me.

I really like the multi-stage processes if we talk about obtaining a nice exotic or set in any game:
    - I really like the way how we have to farm a lot of material components + blueprint and even having a specific rare D50 for example, and then crafting the exotic (like Liberty, Chatterbox), over the other way, where you just kill the boss and it gives you the exotic weapon itself (like Merciless, or Sweet Dreams).
    - I also like the Hard wired set crafting way, where you have to farm components from specific places and specific material and then donating it, over the other 2 sets, which are just dropped anywhere anytime from black tusk. (And I hated it so much in Division 1 when you could just simply get the best classified items from field proficiency cache).
    - I also really like the way how we have to collect the exotic sniper currently existing attachments to have the exotic in the end.

So please, in the future, with the upcoming exotics, sets, or any new type of rare and cool items whatever you have in your pocket, try to follow the way where we have to collect/farm requirements and craft it/obtain it or any other new creative idea, some treasure hunting with a little lore, etc..., so please try to make multi-stage obtaining way in the future, rather than just dropping these exotics directly from a boss, and try to avoid that any good item can be dropped anywhere from a simple mob (like Ongoing and True Patriot sets). Let's leave this simple obtaining mode for rare yellow items, not for exotics and sets. Those all should have multi-stage process to obtain them, because it's way more fun.

This is the best thing ever happened to division 2 exotics/set items. I am fully agree with you

Both ways are fun, it's great to have that guaranteed path to good gear with the recipe/components farm alongside the chance to see a great drop off a boss. The only thing that's missing at the moment is that gear sets and exotics are quite underwhelming.

Allowing gear to drop anywhere with increased chances in more difficult content keeps the entire game viable instead of forcing players to only play a small part of the game. Much prefer the current style where a player can do any activity they enjoy and have a chance at some good gear.
