Wow I've actually had to uninstall this game from my collection.
For a game based off of Far Cry 5 which I can play on ultra with mostly no problems at all, I'm finding it really weird that I cant go five seconds playing New Dawn without unplayable stutter.
Even on the lowest settings I can see the fps going from 80 to 50 to 70 to 90 to 40 etc.
I have no idea what's causing this and I cant see any other posts complaining about performance so I'm at a loss.
I kinder sucked it up for a while until I came to a mission where you meet a guy who puts you into a boxing match, takes all your weapons and after asking you to hit a punching bag sends you into the pit.
The doors opened and omg goodbye fps.
Dropped down to 38 frames. I turned it to the lowest settings as a test 43 frames. So I gave up and uninstalled.
So I'm wondering if anyone else is having issues or its just me?
If not then id say instead of running a patch that makes a characters tattoo look better perhaps a look at performance and stability should be the main priority!
not really over here.. I run it @ 1920x1080 "with" the high def texture installed and turned on lowest my frame rate ever has gone is 45fps. very playable .. and my system is not even the highest end. Though I am running the game on a
Win7 Pro machine and installed on a 2 T Raptor drive and NOT to the C drive
i7 4790k on an asus mobo . 32 gigs G-skill ram
MSI - NVidia GTX 1080 8 gig card
my average is 70 .. as I said the lowest random drop is 45 ..
this might help maybe not
In Nvidia control panel I have it set to let 3d applications decide for it's quality..
In game it is set 1920X1080 .. high def textures set "on" ( some depending on manufacturer of card have had to set that off)
Refesh @ highest .. 60 .. and to eliminate random tearing I have V sync set to "on"
If I wanted higher frams .. much higher I could set V sync "off" but I hate the random tearing..
My game at it's slowest is a smooth as any action movie.. so seems to me I don't need it to be able to render higher frames than my eyes can see..
