    FPS drop and game stuttering

    Hi,

Anyone facing this situation where game fps drops the whole time after the new patch update?

Any idea how to resolve this issue?

I start to have this issue after the tidal basin patch update.

Appreciate if anyone can help me with it.

    Thanks.

Hey raiserliger! Thanks for reaching out.

Can you try these initial steps and let me know if the situation improves?

I've been having 1 to 2 second pauses ever since the update... nothing changed on my end.

I have try the above suggestion but sadly none of it are working.

I believe others also encounter this issue. I believe that the new patch having significant impact on the fps issue.

Can you please have a look on it Ubisoft team?

I encountered the same problem after the patch. I contacted the support and they told me division team is investigating the ptoblem and fix it in one of the future patches.

Having the same issues here, although has been an issue for a good couple of weeks now.

Super frustrating as the game ran perfectly for the first 10hrs or so of gameplay.

Tried as many suggestions to cope with the issue as I can find, but nothing really helping.

sucks to see we are experiencing this issue, but it is nice to know I am not crazy. I thought this last patched caused this issue.

Same issues here. Not sure this is software or network. Group missions are unplayable at present.

Wonder if this is network though? Jumped on the Division for some Underground and transitioning zone seemed to have the same issue

i have no idea, i try to roll back my nvidia GPU 2 version before, unfortunately it doesnt help much

Still experiencing on-off fps drops. Yes pretty annoying.

I hope they can fix this issue on the next patch.

I am also experiencing this- periodic "freezes" where say when i'm running the game will freeze completely for a second or two, the fps plummets, then comes back and i'm stuck running in place for another second or two, then back to normal. i've tried so many things to help with this- everything ubisoft lists as a troubleshooting step- to no avail. i recall seeing this in the earlier days of TD1 on console too. i'm on pc now.

i just built this system about a month ago.

    2700x 4.125 Ghz
Gigabyte RTX2080 Core clock +135 memory clock +600
    Asus prime x-470 pro
G.skill F4-3200C16D-16GTZR - which is on the QVL list for the mobo, however i've just recently found out there is a GTZRX model that is made specifically for ryzen 2.
RAM is running at 3266 stable, stock timings.
