Hello Socratess3 - at the moment you will have to invite people from your Uplay friendslist (or get invited) to play multiplayer.

However: We're planning to implement proper multiplayer lobbies again and today announced a test for it:

Feel free to test it or wait a week or two until we implement it completely

I did what you posted about the test but nothing changed so I don't know what I was supposed to be testing.I have been in touch with uplay but not having any joy with playing multiplayer they said its possible
