Bwhaaaaaa! That. Was. Priceless. Thank you.

Oh and by the way agree with you

a looter is all about time managing. You have to rush to get a maximum number of items per hour...

The biggest fail of this game is that they are trying to copy diablo3 and destiny while they should try to copy path of exile and warframe...
lmao those are really bad examples to copy. both warframe and path of exile deliberately try to wall you off the content due to them being f2p. i dont know why people use those games as examples of good looters. the only looter right now worth its salt is grim dawn. it does its content right, their level design never gets boring, their loot is fun. that is one issue with the division and every other game that is not grim dawn or diablo 2. i have always said its such a shame they used tom clancy universe in this game because if this game dropped the tom clancy brand it could go crazy with its loot design while using real life cities. i dont know why they dont just release a few gear sets specifically for pve where they are fun to use and pvp gearsets that are more geared towards balance.

As for the OP, most of your complains are pure nitpicks. you complain the game not having a marketplace however by doing so, it defeats the purpose of grinding the game and playing the game. its not like its hard to get stuff in this game. complaining about not being able to climb trashcans is nit picking again. in fact this game has a lot of attention to detail that ive done stuff where i thought it wasnt possible. weapons are gonna all be different on how they handle due to this game being part "rpg". it uses real world stuff that doesnt mean the game is striving for true realism. so many people cant get over that. the stuff about changing the reticle is nitpicking again what other game does what you descried in an rpg shooter. it offers nothing to the gameplay. clan housing could be a good idea but it doesnt break or make the game. also you complain about nothing to work forafter hitting 500 gear score. you mean to tell me you have a perfect build? im still 460 playing over the weekend but thats because none of the gear that drops suits my gamestyle or increases the stats im looking for. if you do then you are lucky and screwed. i could go on about the rest of your points but most are nitpicks or i really dont care.

im not saying the game is perfect far from it. i got some dislikes and they are mainly gameplay wise. stuff like not using the sewers again or having crazy fights there, they are only used for farming crafting material to recalibrate. they couldve used the same concept of the underground from the div1 and applied it to this game in order to keep people playing random missions and trying to get loot. which brings me to my next complain which is the loot. its a step up from the division 1 but they still have yet to find the sweet spot. i was hoping these gear sets would increase another layer to the loot but sadly it does the opposite. they couldve added mission specific loot kinda like what they did for barret's vest however each piece should be highly sought for certain build synergy so people are doing more than one mission to avoid another lexington issue. they could even have certain weapon skins and cosmetics tied to the these mission that have a small chance to drop to give more incentive to replay them. dont just lock those behind stupid lootboxes. try to reward your players through playing the game this way ubisoft. this would keep you playing their game even after finishing all their content.

    - nothing really to work for once you near max gear score, at this point it turns into Diablo 3, only less fun
So you already have different builds for certain situations (PvE, PvP, DZ, upcoming Raid, etc....) all on GS 500+ and perfectly min/maxed?

And this in only 3 days?

You sir should call Guiness bcs this is def. a World Record.

I farm since TB release like crazy, do it efficient, know what I'm doing, know what stats I need and I'm not even near to have one build finished on GS 500+ (finished means good attribute rolls) and far away to be min/maxed.

In Diablo 3 after you find a 6 piece set and enter T13 the next step is to farm for Primals/Ancients to min/max your build.

In Divison 2 the goal is to min/max the stats and find gear with DMG nodes for you weapon with rolls as high as possible, or armor as high as possible, etc...only this way you can get a million DPS build and that a long road till there.

I cant imagine that you have a perfect min/maxed gear for your build on GS 500+.

If yes pls post your equip here.

Nah was 25 days until the 5 April "patch" dropped and only to find out all the work of those 25 days was tossed out the window and the game had a sudden strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Ask yourself CroDanZ, Why was the game not released like this (what it is today) in the first place?

It's a back flip in gaming that I'm sure ******ss world records would like to add

    edit: OMG!!! g u in n e s s Has been censored

I hope you didnt destroy your gear, bcs gear score dont realy matter in Division 2.

My optimized 460GS build is way better than simply put on gear with higher GS.

Yes in long term higher GS is better stat wise but I'm fine with it searching for better gear now.

This is a RPG and in many lootbased RPGs you have this kind of "new tier new gear".

I had fun before the patch....I have fun now with the new patch....this is what games are all about, having fun.

Or is the game your job that you take it so serious?

I'm willing to bet they've already moved most of the staff to their next title and left a skeleton crew to push out patches.

I worked for SOE and EA in the past, both were the same way. Cash grab factories.
The Division 1 and Rainbow Six Siege demonstrated already that UBI sticks to their guns. Both games where supported through rough times. Right now I got no reason to believe that UBI is in the business of dropping support prematurely.

This game needs a slow, methodical way for players to eventually maximize a piece of gear.

As things stand, it is statistically impossible to get an item that is as good as it can be. You'll inevitably have to settle for an undesirable talent, or stat, or stat roll. Imagine trying to get a best in slot chest piece for whatever build you are aiming at. Presumably, you'll want two talents on it, some number of mod slots, and 2 attributes that you really care about.

So you need a chest to drop that is missing only one of those things.

Get a chest with 4 attributes on it? Automatically not best in slot, because there likely aren't four separate attributes that your build wants. Get a chest with only one talent? It can never be best in slot, because you can't add talents, only change them.

You need something like 10 different rolls to go in your favor, with only one allowed to be wrong. It's just not happening. That is a very unfulfilling, very punishing endgame.

Imagine if you could "unlock" other attributes on gear by paying a hefty price, however. Right now once you recalibrate a talent, for example, you can't recalibrate another talent, or recalibrate an attribute. But imagine you could do something to allow you to start recalbrating that other talent or attribute. What the price is, I'm not sure. Perhaps some kind of material or token could start dropping from challenge and heroic modes.

Ideally you could keep unlocking the ability to recalibrate more and more attributes such that, if it really came down to it, you could edit every attribute and talent on a single item. Only if you put in the time to gather those materials/tokens, though. At any moment you could still get a new drop that is closer to your desired best in slot, which would save you a lot of time, but in case that never happens, you'd have a fall back system to eventually get you there.

So too me, after the patch I can't even run the game So the fun has gone

I do take stuff pretty seriously when things completely change, all in all It's great to hear that some continue to like it still and you are finding your enjoyment to be filled after the rework patch. It's a mixed bunch and if the changes were made in a more subtle way and not so forced onto us I would have probably been able to find solutions to them and move on. Now I will just be moving on unfortunately

Out of curiosity - and hypothetically - what do you each feel end game content should consist of? What kind of experience are you looking for?

To those already at max Gear Score, what content do you feel best holds your interest? To those not, what kind of experience (both in the moment and to strive for) makes you feel invested?

i am not bored and still enjoying the game 189 hours later but with WT5 released, i am finding myself not getting upgrades: 450 gear has higher stat rolls than 500! so it makes doing end game pointless b/c there is no chance of an upgrade. i hope this is looked and addressed soon. like real soon.
