Challenging solo and 4 agent group is at a good difficulty for me.
Heroic bounties solo is also at a good difficulty for me, though these were in Tier 4, not tried in tier 5 yet. I have also not tried any heroic 4 group stuff yet as I doubt my build is good enough yet at 472 in Tier 5. Not tried a level 4 CP yet at all.
Everything else I have tried has been beaten, all be it a challenge sometimes. Definitely not unplayable though.
We're completely open to feedback on the game's difficulty and loot. However, repeatedly working to refine your build is one of the core concepts of this type of game (not just TD2, but pretty much any game with RNG-based drops). There's different ways this can be handled, but tougher challenges being tied to better rewards is a feature in a whole lot of video games. The second part of your post left me a bit confused.
I am happy for the constructive discussions over here.
Ok, so say that my idea isn't correct because somehow I didn't get the core of the game at full, let's say because I am not used to it.
But let's talk about the practical approach.
You said you didn't care about that Barret Vest, ok fine.
You said that people played it 100-200 times and didn't get it, now it's legit to ask, is that normal?
There are people like me that left the game without even the possibility to play with the Vest.
So at this point I say, did I pay a game to play 200 times a mission without being able to loot the item? C'mon...
And for @Ubilnsulin, what exactly confuse you?
I am saying that the same problem is occuring over here in TD2, you farm 10 times Jefferson and don't find the loot for the chatterbox, so you need to come back to re-farm the keys, I mean is that normal? Please answer!
And when I say "like the normalization concept", what I mean is that, give the possibility to everybody to loot the items in the game, withouth the need to farm them 10-20-30 times!!!
Such is the nature of loot tables and RNG.Originally Posted by refraction_it Go to original post

You paid to play a game, not for guaranteed loot. There are people like me that left the game without even the possibility to play with the Vest.
