Game difficulty / Game status / Issues

    And here we are again...

Now, there will be for sure people saying that I am wrong, because you are all super players who can handle the game, but btw how many of you?

    Game Difficulty

Challenging and Eroic are completely unplayable, I am trying to play a mission in Eroic or Challenging, and I see continuosly people quitting the game, including me, because it is very ridicolous that you die with a one shot from a damned machine.

NPCs obviously with their sponge effect, when they rush you it is a 100% death, because they can kill you with 2-3 shots.

    Farming and Build structure

When farming on main missions, you always get gear piece with +3 or +4 the score you have, that reflect on being in constant farming having a very poor reward, I would say very useless.

When farming for Exotic weapons, as in TD1 which I left without being able to get the Barret Vest playing the mission over 50 damned times, you don't find what you are searching for.
Stupid example, the Chatterbox, you open the caches and don't find chatterbox pieces, this is a joke.

So, why don't give the possibility to everybody to get the same things, it is like your normalization concept, so then we can all concentrate on the end game, either DZ or Conflict, instead of being in constant farming ???

This thing of the gear score, just very useless, once you complete your build, you have to farm again the higher gear score, it is a neverending loop, damn.
Also, you need to play again and again the same main mission to unlock, for example, the invasion missions...

As in TD1, you sweat to make a build, and then after a while you have to farm for it again, c'mon people...

Not complaining about playing on SOLO, because it is unplayable, but I always do matchmaking.

I see after TD1 Ubisoft didn't learn anything.

This game is just a commercial operation to get people close again with the brand, but as you can all see the same issues are there.

Then stay in your current world tier if you don't want to farm for the highest level gear. This game has catered to casuals enough already. That's why there's lower difficulty, lower tiered worlds, normalized dz's, for players such as yourself.

I just hope Ubi dont pay to much attention to these posts cause 90% of the community are to busy enjoying this "Super hard unplayable " game. Farming simulator seems like a better place to use your skill set.

then stay on hard mode until you get better and more comfortable.
why would you want to remove other people's fun ? you'd like to have it perfect for you while everyone else is bored or something?

did tidal basin on challenging for the first time yesterday night and absolutely loved it.
sure we wiped 2 times but it wouldnt have felt as good completing it without them wipes.

And thats the Problem. That is at the moment simply wrong.
U dont get Items GS +3-4
U now get Items GS -3-4 mostly.
Im 499 and most gear i get in Missions is about 395-396 and till now after about 10-12 Mission on "chalanging" with not one single GS500 drop i stoped playing.

Oh really? So let me guess, I paid for a game and I can't enjoy it at full because I can't play Heroic?
So following your opinion, I have to play always low difficulty and get poor loot only because I find hard to play higher difficulty?

Well, and then 90% of people enjoy play this unplayable game?
So let me clear things over here, 90% it's your illusion, and I am not a damned kid who is complaining for the game.

    Many people complained about it.

How can you find suitable the fact that I need to farm 10 times the same mission just to get a piece of a project or gear set?
    That's what I paid for?
Do you think that it's suitable that I played over 50 times TD1, the mission to get the Barret Vest, and I didn't get it?

    That's INSANE!

And guess what? I should stay in my world tier? LOL ! What did you just say?

    Bah...

    Yes.

You played TD1, so you have a very good idea of loot mechanics in the game and how harsh the RNG can be.

Challenge and heroic, well, it's in the name. They are supposed to be the most difficult instances in the game.

If loot is your concern, you do not need to play challenge or heroic to get high level gear. I play mostly solo (but for a few runs with my son), and right now, all my gear is between 491 and 500, just doing activities and running missions on hard. Now, my build is not perfect, and it is going to take some time to get the builds I want at the level I want to be, but I am not struggling playing the game. Eventually I'll have builds to habitually run challenging missions without much struggle.

You can even buy high level gear from vendors. The vendor associated with the snitch (don't remember her name) she sells gear as high as 491 (I got a 491 SMG from her).

But the thing you need to do (as least in my experience) is to wear the higher level gear, even if it messes up with whatever build you have going on now. In my experience, boss drops and proficiency cache drops have a high chance to give pieces that are equal or higher to the highest piece of gear you are wearing, not what's in your inventory.

BTW, 50 Lexington runs without getting a Barret's isn't that bad. Many ran it 100, 200 times and nothing. I really never cared about it, so I didn't run Lexingon over and over.

I'm not going to be rude or say anything along the git gud crap people spew. But they aren't unplayable. You might need to change your playstyle but they are perfect imo in their difficulty. Challenging is a challenge You will die.

No. Wardogs have a massive sniper rifle. They are loud. They are conspicuous. They have a giant red light that points at you. Then they fire a second or two later. Is it very high damage? Yes. That's why its telegraphed.

As for the sponge effect. Yeah its a looter shooter, its not CS:GO. You can't have RPG elements and DPS stats and not have an opportunity for sustained dps.
Okay its not real. Sure yeah. In real life a 9mm to the head is death, but that would be a boring game in a looter shooter.

And yes, especially on harder difficulties if you get rushed they can kill you quickly. If you're playing with others call it out when someone is rushing you. Setup your team positioning wisely. Pre arrange spots to drop back to... when you get rushed pull them back. Tier 4 CPs, I've backed up a block and half cause that's what kept us alive.

    Also, FLAME TURRETS

In short, yeah RNG can be unfair sometimes. The sheer amount of loot in this game makes up for it.

YEP. That's the core game loop. It's really okay if its not your favorite, but that's what it is. I mean I think Madden sucks. And millions and millions of dollars every year prove that many people disagree with me. Different tastes.

Yeah but its not unplayable. The difficulty is high, so you can throw your hands in the air or adapt.
