I have been playing since launch, no freezes before "1.7"
it froze 1st time some 30 min after playing on 1.7 and now second time after tidal basin patch
both times froze with "trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" sound. had to hard reset - num lock key wasnt working . so no crash dumps saved - checked with "who crashed" app
dx12 all the time

This is a memory handling issue and it's one that Ubisoft are aware of but choose to not admitOriginally Posted by Bagieta997 Go to original post
It's has been in the game since it was released but the latest patch that was released has further exaggerated and I'm sure that was not the plan
25 days of play and not one single issue then this patch proved the fact
Massive, maybe write a program that launches when EAC does to combat the handling error?
I will stick with it but if no fix for this drops in the next couple of weeks, well, the terms I accepted when purchasing the game can be disputed and if that's what it takes, end users will make the decisions
p.s there are ways to get around this but the steps involved are NOT part of the agreement and not possible by means of simple hardware changes. I have tested them all and you can get playing but will not be able to stay stable. It's in the games code and we cannot change that no matter how much Ubisoft want us too
I have no idea about dx11. I have always been playing on dx12Originally Posted by UbiSailorScout Go to original post
