What?

Right now seems that the only way to get better gs items is equipping any garbage with gs better than your actual to force game to drop better stuff

Ex:

You gs450 = drops 455 or below
You gs 460 = drops 465 or below

And so on, so screw your build and start to use any garbage if you wish get better stuff

Its another really bad decision of ubisoft

EDIT: ok, watched the clip. So what's the point of your post? 500 stuff drops before and after your 500. D1 was the same way with drops.
Do you expect every drop you get to be better than the previous drop?

I do hope this wasn't mean to me who just created a thread in general discussion to share a useful information hidden in a clip and to calm down people who just shouting the loot on 500GS is full of bugs. It's not bug, it's a change.

If you get 500 drops before reaching 500, ok. He says in the clip, It's not guaranteed you get exactly the gear score you're in at all times!

I don't have that much problem with that at all. I'm just missing this information from the patch notes

Nope, it is even worse for me.

I am GS 451, sold everything below 450.

Did a full run of lincoln and got ZERO items above 451, ah sorry, i got one 454 shotgun. I got 445 yellow and purples as low a 436.

So unless i buy higher stuff, that i am not even sure where i would get it, i will be stuck at 451 forever.

So good job devs, can i please be put back into WT4 if i only ever will get WT4 gear ?

Each WT has a range of the GS items that drop. They scale to be around your current GS +/-.
Anyone with any common sense thats ever played a loot based game knows and understand how lvl items drop. So where is all this "it's a bug, I'm in WT5 and not every drop i get is 500+" stuff coming from?

Bro... put that 454 shotgun on and run another mission and watch the magic that happens. Or better yet, go check 1 of the 8 vendors in the game and buy some stuff that's higher than what you have and put it on THEN go run another mission.
You'll be amazed at what happens next.

If there is no change. Then why on WT4 with GS450+ all legendary gear drop was 450? Not 499 or 491... all 450. And if there is NO change. Then why with GS 508 we got 491 GS loot?

I see there is a change. And it is an important thing. And if this is not in patch notice there is a hidden change. One guy says something on stream - he may do not know what the question about. It is can not be confirmation. Lets see what they will say on forum or in the patch notice.

I did watch it. lol it looks to me that they were responding to a braindead person asking, "WhY aLl My DrOpS nOt 500 Gs"?
They gave to answer(known by most people), that loot drops AROUND your current GS.

The shotgun raises my GS for 451 to, wait for it, 451 !

And i am playing a looter shooter, not a shopping shooter. How much of the money am i supposed to pay to get to GS 500, i would have to buy tons of totally useless gear, just because the broke the looting aspect. maybe they should just add an option to buy a full set of GS 500 purples or what ?

What drops were you getting in WT5 BEFORE the patch? Were they all 500?
