So it's not a bug. It's a change.
(Thanks to EChondo for the finding)
I wonder if that is the same that some have with being stuck at 450 also.Originally Posted by Bigwhitepaw Go to original post
I guess if you don't have content you extend the grind ? Yep, the lazy way out is still the easiest.
Anything to lengthen the grind. I guess they didn't like how easily we were getting our gear at 450 and wanted to put a stop to it. Now that perfect roll item you just found? Yeah it's 499 and can't be actually optimized the way it could in the Division 1. They need to bring back a way to buff up the base weapon damage/base armor like that.
It is amazing how casually they say that they destroyed a core aspect of a looter shooter, on purpose, and decided to not include it in the patch notes.Originally Posted by Jessilan Go to original post
On the other hand i am still stuck at 450, lowest item, except for the level 1 special and uniques, is now 445 i think, still only getting 44x purples and yellow.
Need to put on higher level stuff to get higher level item's. Just buy random junk from the vendors then go run some missions.Originally Posted by Diedel443 Go to original post
Haven't watched whatever you linked but I've gotten lots of 500 GS items and I'm 496.
So what's this about having to be 500 to get 500 GS stuff? False.
EDIT: ok, watched the clip. So what's the point of your post? 500 stuff drops before and after your 500. D1 was the same way with drops.
Do you expect every drop you get to be better than the previous drop?
lol so you going to stop playing because you're not being handed max lvl gear every drop?Originally Posted by Desolator_X Go to original post
Entitled kids these days.
While it's sad we get to know this from a twitch stream/clip instead of the patch notes (or I just missed it), I'm not worrying that much about it. Basically a 5 gear score difference between two items, for example a 495 item and 500 item, or a 460 vs 465, is literally nothing. And most stats, for example damage on weapon is still a value between min and max. In gear the attributes don't change much either as I saw if you find a higher gear score by 5, but correct me if you experienced something else.
So If you find a max damage, let's say, 496 weapon, or a perfect stat and talent combination armor part, perhaps you almost never gonna find a better one on 500 score anyway, and who cares. (I'm still running with my gear score 450 nearly perfect weapon, since I couldn't find a better on much higher gear score).
The only thing that really bothers me is the source where they provided this information.
