Green Belt Seppuku
so i was doing the normal endo/squishy thing a couple of hundred times
to get up on the t-bar at cp6(7) as usual. Then the last minute i decided to try one of
the tchniques Big_Darkside showed me in one of his streams:
i didnt have much time to practise this strat,
but it showed a lot of promise in a very short time. Thought i would share it here...
Next time i'm there again im going to focus on this technique for sure.
Also, cp1(2)
at the beginning this checkpoint killed all my illusions of ever passing this track.
I'v timed out several times here, now i pass it within seconds.
Again a very useful tips from Big_Darkside who always are willing to help noob-ninjas.

Please, add your voice here. That bug has been there for 5 years across multiple platforms and 2 games. I still have a tiny sliver of hope that one day, or one year, the devs finally fix it.Originally Posted by calculusman1084 Go to original post

Its weird because the first time I passed Green Belt, I got the lost connection error too. Had to pass it again to get score from it. Seems to be an issue with the track itself, I guess.Originally Posted by calculusman1084 Go to original post
I finally got past the first CP on Black Belt. Timed out at the part where you have to bunny hop backwards on the 3 little platforms. I cant do that stationary bunny hop very well to get on the 3rd platform but its a progress nonetheless. Ill just have to practice some more because im pretty much maxed out on everything else in the game. Just glad I finally broke the top 100 global (88th overall).
i got the same thing on Orange the first time, some 22 minutes was not fast enough to get on the leaderboard...Originally Posted by Retribution Go to original post
maybe the game are adding the faultcount on top of your time and reject you if its over 30 min in total?
you got a stretch into the track then, good job!Originally Posted by Retribution Go to original post
When I beat it for the second time, I lowered my fault count but ended up with a longer time (24 minutes) because of the 6th CP, but I ended up with a gold medal so that's the only different thing, not sure why it would have to do with that because on all the other regular tracks, you still get score no matter which medal.Originally Posted by fleskeknoke Go to original post
Anyway, thank you. Hopefully my posts will encourage others to hang in there and not give up too easily. Just wish there was an easier way to get past the first CP so I could have more practice on the rest of the track.
F I N A L Y - GreenBelt - checkpoint 6
after trying all kinds of things to get over the T-bar consistently
i decided to stay with the Endo and just figure it out.
After a day i was over so many times on each run so it just HAD to happen...
freaked out a little at the end there...
i had problems concentrate after that
so checkpoint 7 took 10 minutes, still... i'v been at cp6 for 3 weeks!
so far on checkpoint 8:
this was only one run, so i expect to time out many more times on all checkpoints,
but this was a real confident booster.
I can feel it.... i'm going to pound that GreenBelt to the ground. =)
I had a somewhat similar progression Fleske. I'd spend so much time figuring out the cp that my fingers were useless trying to finesse the final parts of the cp after so many repetitive movements and faults. The first time I past cp 9, I went on to finish it suprisingly and have not looked back. You'll pass it sooner than later now.
