The Division 2 Freezes and Crashes to Desktop

Hi. I just freshly installed windows 10 on new nvme m.2 ssd but game still crashes. It has some frame drops and after a while and I believe one of them frame drops cause crash to windows without error or report in event viewer although there were two events from Microsoft at that time but not critical and I will give details below but I'm not sure if it has anything to do with above.

It's 6months old pc with high end components and peripherals built for this game all drivers are up to date and tried all tips from forums but no help.
Just to let you know that Battlefield V has similar problems but it gives an error

I have no other software on my fresh install only them two games.
My pc is not overclocked apart from memory which runs on an xmp profile in bios at 3200mhz which is factory clock.
I've seen many similar posts and I hope I'm not the only one and you find this helpful to research more.

This happened to me in Open Beta, and again today. What helped me:
    Rename (or delete) the directory
    C:\Users\<username>\Documents\my games\Tom Clancy's The Division 2

This will reset all ingame configuration settings. Game might launch and not crash then. Good luck.

    Thanks for sharing dyl4n1982!
@sansej4 Did the workaround help at all?
Have you tried installing TD2 and Uplay on the same drive as your OS? Have you tried verifying your game files? (Epic / Uplay)

Crashing as well every 15-30 minutes. Almost feels like a memory leak. Its happened just moving through the environment, switching weapons, during combat. Only today though since this morning's patch. I did not crash at all before this. DX12, up to date win10 pro x64, AMD Ryzen processor 1700, AMD Radeon RX580

I did try updating my video driver but now I'm having problems with the game not opening on the primary display....what a pain

Hi. Thanks for joining. I had this game on my first nvme m.2 ssd same as windows 10 and it was crashing too, so I decided to buy another one and I keep game launcher and uplay on system drive and game installation folder on another nvme m.2 ssd which are superfast so there should be absolutely no issues. The game was installed again on fresh windows last Friday and it seems to crash after longer gaming sessions same as battlefield. I will try above suggestion and report back. I did verify game files already. My only question is why it happens when no other software is installed on this PC. It's like it's out the box with new system and drivers so what can possibly cause the problem and I know I'm not the only one.

My game is also freezing and then crashing, before and after the patch of today. It happens at random intervals. So sometimes i can play for 1h and sometimes it crashes after 10min.

I just searched back and it was exactly the same windows error before Division 2 and Battlefield V crashes : LiveKernelEvent 141

So it looks like windows causing this crash but I'm not an expert to know that

Hi. My PC is 6mths old pc. I7 8086K watercooled, 1080ti, 16GB Corsair RGB PRO DDR4, 2x NVMe m.2 Samsung 970 Evo, Nothing is overclocked. All my software and hardware is still under warranty so I contacted Microsoft / Asus / Corsair to try figure it out and it ended up to be bad DDR4 memory stick. I run tests Prime95 and memtest86 and it was giving me errors so next step was to test DDR individually and I found that one of them is bad. It's RMA'd and now all games works fine. Just to mention that after I built my PC I run all tests and all passed OK. and after 4months I started to have them problems where I blamed games to be broken. I'm not sure if all of you has the same fault but it's worth trying.
