This recent nerf to the Extended Mag makes the game feel like 1.3, from the original Division... The patch that lost 90% of the player base except for the content creators who could play 24/7, and always in organized groups.

If this where we are headed... I can just as easily abandon this game like I did the first one, but... I don't want to have to do that.

Massive made a lot of good changes to TD2, but stuff like this was un-needed IMO because it's yet another glaring example of "artificial difficulty". As another poster stated, it's not fun having to reload every three, or four seconds just to have a chance to survive against the 1.3-like Terminator enemies who have thousands of armor and health hit points + can put out 300K+ damage in ONE shot. That's also while bum-rushing your position and ignoring any CC.. Including fire turrets, fire grenades, etc. It's complete and utter laziness and lack of polish. Where is the stagger mechanic that was so prevalent in The Division?!

Also, if you didn't realize by now... Don't go to the official Division Subreddit. It's just a big fanboy/cheering squad for Massive, and any legit criticisms like this are met with the typical "get gud" crap arrogant teens post because they don't want to admit the game they pay 24/7, isn't perfect.

So all of you used +30 mag and ignored others? That is called cool gameplay now?
FFS. 30 mag with more dmg is still cool. Also, jazz hands can be useful now. Use your brain, not your ***...

    Same.

There are now forcing players into a meta instead of letting players define the meta.

In addition, ARs draw from a separate ammo pool that let you alternate between heavy, sniper, and SMG. That diversity is all gone, too, which means more reloading and running out of ammo due to the idiotic bullet sponges that we we're all duped into thinking was a thing of the past.

There is a magazine mod available that gives +20 rounds with a -10% reload speed trade off.

How do you guys feel the mod changes will impact the build and mod setup variety between all the different weapon types?

For starters if I could get the game running of which I cannot after the latest patch i would give it a try and reply accordingly...

As for the feeling of losing what I had for the last 25 days, a roll back is the only change that will impact my happiness

I mean if it's too much then don't release the game with it in the first place, why let us make builds around something you know you are going to nerf?

And how could you not know it unless you aren't testing your stuff before you release it.

    Is that the case?

I think whomever you put in charge of this should come on the forums and answer these questions or did you fire him already for being an idiot?
If its that big of an issue get the talent that gives extra ammo percantage and pair that with the new extended mag you can still get around 50 rounds a mag that way

And if he gets the 50 round mag and the +20% mag size talent then he's almost at 60 rounds (1 blueprint and 1 talent that you can get to roll onto your favourite gun) and with the amount that's dropping you'll get that talent sooner or later.
