Come on, please release the Linux client or at least let EAC know that they can allow the download of the Wine client.Originally Posted by RusNeuroMancer Go to original post
Trying to get this game running on Fedora 32 through Lutris and having the same issues with this garbage Easy Anti-Cheat. Game installs fine, as soon as you launch it, EAC starts installing or something and then just throws up all over the place. It just hangs and starts loading, then disappears, hangs and starts loading, disappears, over and over. Seriously... get this fixed.
Still the same problem in June 2021 on Manjaro Linux with Division 2,
Installs fine, when booted Easy Anti Cheat tries to load then crashes out in a loop until the end of time (or until I stop it).
I'm a little angry at this, I just finished Division 1, and in division 1 they are constantly advertising division 2, and last week on uplay a sale offered me the game at a discount, no warnings that it wouldn't work on linux at any point, Division 1 works just fine. So i bought the game and installed it ( a message said no refunds if you install, which is a bit unfair because how are you supposed to know if the game will work or not without installing it?)
so now not only am I out of pocket through shifty practices (fakes sales and advertising a game within another game), I also have a game on my account I can never play because of some anti cheat software. thanks Ubi.
